Preparing this Remielle cosplay coordinate from Zenless Zone Zero required extensive dedication during pattern-making and prop fabrication. The overall visual aesthetic leans toward pure white and soft lilac: the neckline features white ruffles accented with a pale blue bow, draped with a silver four-pointed star pendant and cascading pastel purple tassels. The standout highlights are the iridescent wings along my back and the pointed Elf ears; to ensure the wings appeared featherlight before the lens, I reinforced the interior harness framework multiple times.

The shooting set featured white classical sculptures and stone staircases adorned with candelabras and pink blossoms, perfectly matching an angelic dreamscape. Because white dominates the costume, handling lighting was paramount. I coordinated closely with the photographer to deploy diffused soft lighting that accentuates textile weaves without blowing out specular highlights. The wig was trimmed with blunt bangs and layered short strands along the cheeks, pinned with a silver star-shaped hair accessory. Touching up makeup required extreme care because the prosthetic Elf ears were adhered with skin wax and spirit gum; sudden movements risked shifting them out of place.

In designing poses, I explored varied emotional states: resting on the staircase while gently touching a finger to my lips, or softly closing my eyes in quiet contemplation. White stockings and over-the-knee socks visually elongate leg proportions, yet seated postures demand strict control over core engagement and leg muscles to convey relaxed fluidity. In tight close-ups, eye contact became essential—projecting an ethereal, faraway grace without appearing vacant. Leaning back or reaching outward showcased the dress tailoring and the dynamic spread of the wings. To capture the shot with fingers grazing my lips, we adjusted arm angles for over ten minutes to lock down the most natural gesture.

I brought two spare pairs of White stockings to set, as white fabrics easily pick up dust and show smudges under intense lighting. After holding poses for extended durations, elastic marks along the thighs had to be smoothed out. When seated on the white staircase, ground bounce glare easily foreshortens leg lines if you sit too low, so I elevated my posture with discreet padding. Wearing the wings was also an endurance test: uncalibrated shoulder harnesses quickly strain the neck and restrict arm mobility.

Throughout the shoot, continuous adjustments to posture were vital—particularly managing waist and neck tension to keep lines elegant and elongated. Bringing Remielle from Zenless Zone Zero to fruition from original art references to the final frame hinged on close communication and iterative tweaks. Surrounded by sculpted stone and floral arrangements, immersing into that serene, gentle atmosphere felt effortless. Though exhausting, seeing the chiaroscuro and wardrobe nuances match our exact expectations made every effort profoundly rewarding. Translating my interpretation of this character into reality was an immensely fulfilling creative experience.
