A considerable amount of thought went into polishing the details for this custom-designed masculine rabbit concept. From selecting fabric materials to styling the wig, everything was guided by my personal interpretation of the character's relaxed, everyday domestic life. The plaid dress is tailored with a flattering snug fit; combining puff sleeves with a lace collar delivers both maidenly lightness and a quiet vintage charm. To echo the dress, an oversized bunny ear headband in the matching plaid pattern was specially made, with small black bows accenting the base of the twin tails so that the layered hair accessories remain distinct even during subtle gestures like tilting down or glancing sideways.
For the makeup, rather than chasing a heavy theatrical stage presence, pink-toned eyeshadow and blush were used to cultivate a lazy afternoon mood. The wig features long, pale-blonde twin tails; during styling, the roots needed teasing to add airy volume, and the bangs underwent repeated trimming to frame the face naturally across both overhead and profile angles. The bedroom was chosen as the shooting location to recreate an intimate, relaxing domestic atmosphere. The bedding was pristine white, illuminated by side lighting paired with warm yellow ambient glow, creating a remarkably soft overall image.
In terms of props, the grayish-green plush bunny serves as an essential compositional element. Its volume and fluffy texture nicely balance the visual density of the plaid dress, making the scene feel grounded in everyday life. Poses like holding it in my arms, resting it on my lap, or dangling it by one ear effortlessly inspired many organic actions. A vintage book was also an exceptionally practical prop: turning yellowed pages, whether pretending to read or glancing up into the camera, instantly brought dynamic vitality to an otherwise static seated posture.
When wearing these white garter stockings, special attention had to be paid to the position of the garter clips to ensure lines stayed smooth across various seating poses. Shooting on a bed heavily tests core strength, as keeping the torso upright for long stretches while allowing the legs to extend naturally requires steady engagement. To capture that flawless frame showcasing both leg contours and stocking texture, angles and lighting directions were adjusted repeatedly.
Although the entire shoot took place indoors, balancing aesthetic composition with comfort meant testing every single freeze-frame multiple times. Even though this custom design doesn't rigidly conform to original canon styling, the goal was to convey the character's signature quiet grace through fabrics and ambiance. The resulting photo set—from every single pleat on the dress to the placement of each prop—is the fruit of our collective effort, and I hope these photos bring everyone a sense of peaceful at-home tranquility.
