[Shirasu Azusa cosplay] Blue Archive Summer Swimsuit Azusa, Sharing a Refreshing Summer Swimsuit Photoshoot

Sharing a set of studio photoshoot works featuring Shirasu Azusa's summer swimsuit look from Blue Archive. Centered around a refreshing summer style, the outfit uses a highly restored pink, blue, and white ruffled two-piece swimsuit, paired with silver-white long hair and colorful fruit-element hair accessories, looking visually very cool and refreshing.

For the set construction, we chose a combination of an indoor pool along with beach chairs, a parasol, an ice bucket, and anchor decorations, attempting to recreate an authentic vacation vibe in the studio. Since the lighting in the studio is controllable, we focused on utilizing large areas of soft light sources to simulate outdoor sunlight. During the shoot, we carefully adjusted the reflections on the pool's water surface and the interactions with the props. For instance, when holding a cherry sundae cup or sitting by the pool looking back over my shoulder, the focus was on emphasizing the layers of the outfit and the texture of the skin. The transparent swim ring is an excellent interactive prop; using it as a foreground for framing composition in this anime-style photography session makes the image more fun and engaging.

The character Shirasu Azusa actually has an aloof and introverted side, but her swimsuit look reveals a fitting sense of contrast. Therefore, during the actual shoot, I adjusted my mindset to retain some of her characteristic temperament while showing a more lively and natural emotion to match the summer scene. The camera moved closer or further away, resulting in full-body shots that showcase the entire look and setting, as well as half-body shots focusing on facial features and expressions. The color tones of this photo set are very bright, and the subject is balanced evenly within the frame. Before shooting, we needed to plan the placement of props in advance to prevent the scene from looking cluttered. A few shots combining everyday elements like a white lounge chair and a pineapple wooden crate also added an authentic slice-of-life touch to this cosplay set. In post-processing, we tried our best to maintain the original light and shadow texture without intentionally doing intense color grading, mainly presenting a natural, transparent, and bright summer atmosphere. I hope this restores the unique feeling of Swimsuit Azusa in summer that everyone envisions.
