For this Shirasu Azusa cosplay from "Blue Archive," the visual core revolves around the coolness and agility of summer. To restore Azusa's water-like texture, the material choice for the swimsuit was crucial; I pursued a visual effect that was light and translucent. Regarding the tailoring, to reflect the character's dynamic beauty, I added numerous pleat designs, allowing for fluid lines from various shooting angles.
In terms of styling, the purity of hair color is key. Paired with headpieces full of summer colors, it not only accents the look but strengthens the refreshing, almost transparent atmosphere. As a solo self-portrait project, I paid special attention to the subtle use of light, attempting to use soft cool-toned lighting to simulate the coolness of a summer afternoon. Every detail, like the placement of the swimming ring and the lines of the ankles, was meant to make the composition more harmonious and natural.
During the summer photography process, capturing the subtle expressions was my biggest concern. Shirasu Azusa is not just cute; she possesses an elegance and tranquility belonging to the water. In capturing expressions, I tried to let tenderness and agility coexist in my eyes, avoiding rigid posing. Through this work, I hope to accurately restore that moment of innocence and agility at the water's edge, bringing a refreshing summer visual enjoyment to every friend in front of the screen.
