This time, the shoot is of Shimoe Koharu from Blue Archive. From deciding on the character to completing this set of photos, a lot of thought went into restoring her iconic elements throughout the process. That floating halo and the black wings on her back are the soul of the look. To make them both stable and aesthetically pleasing outdoors, many small support structures were made inside, and during the shoot, we had to be constantly careful not to reveal any flaws in front of the lens. The drop-shoulder design of the coat, the pink lines along the edges, and that short skirt with a slightly fluffy hem were all adjusted bit by bit based on the reference patterns. The rifle prop in hand was also specially matched, with just the right sense of weight. Holding it in hand, one can truly appreciate the character's spirit of being a newcomer, keeping a straight face and working hard to prove herself.

The outdoor light on the day of the shoot was actually quite helpful, but the wind on the pedestrian bridge was a bit out of control. Especially for the poses of holding up the manga and raising the gun, we adjusted back and forth many times just to capture that slightly naive yet exceptionally earnest temperament. I really like the sense of contrast in her—clearly a somewhat clumsy honor student, yet always wanting to carry a big gun to charge onto the battlefield. As a cosplayer, I tried to preserve the greenness unique to the character during this process. Sometimes a casual look back or a small action of looking down at the manga carries a greater sense of story than an intentionally struck pose. The photographer's composition also helped me beautifully integrate architectural lines such as metal railings and steps, making the frame look clean and sharp. The final photos froze that clumsy yet straightforward cuteness, totally living up to the hair messed up by the wind during this outdoor photography experience.
