This time, I challenged the look of Seia Yurizono from Blue Archive, and I was truly captured by the cuteness of this little golden fox. That pair of fluffy fox ears and her iconic yellow hat are the focal points of the styling. Paired with a bright yellow jacket and a white inner layer, it visually provides a very distinct character recognition.
During the shoot, we specially chose a bedroom scene filled with flowers. The pure white European iron bed and soft carpet made the entire atmosphere look exceptionally clean and translucent. Light filtered through the sheer curtains, hitting the light yellow hair strands; this soft light effect beautifully showcased the character's agile yet slightly lazy qualities. Trying out different poses was very interesting: lying down looked very relaxed, while sitting on the edge of the bed and tilting my head up had a bit of a playful charm. The hardest part of cosplay is blending into the environment while maintaining the character's traits, so I didn't intentionally make exaggerated expressions in my movements and demeanor, just keeping a natural state.
Actually, besides the hat, I also paired it with orange transparent sunglasses to embellish specific angles, adding some everyday fun to the frame. This kind of casual, daily-oriented cosplay captures the character's private relaxation much better than completely recreating combat scenes from the storyline, beautifully bringing out her 2D charm. Although wearing the wig and fluffy ears indoors was indeed a bit stuffy, seeing that sunny and bright atmosphere in the photos made it all feel completely worth it. It was an incredibly joyful Portrait photography experience.
