[Shiroko Sunaookami Cosplay] Blue Archive Refreshing Street Style

This time, we chose a modern subway station for the photoshoot; the overall lighting and metallic architectural textures aligned wonderfully with the character's original color palette. Stepping into the station in full gear, even a mundane public space felt charged with the atmosphere of a story unfolding.

When shooting this set, I mainly wanted to highlight a crisp, clean visual aesthetic. For the costume materials, I deliberately selected a high-quality white T-shirt and black athletic shorts, where the blue piping along the edges nicely echoes the character's signature theme color. Tying the jacket around the waist not only adds layered depth to the outfit, but also introduces effortless, breezy motion when walking. The white thigh-highs outfit paired with platform canvas sneakers not only visually elongates body proportions, but also creates a lovely interplay of light and reflection with the station's sleek, polished tile floors.

In terms of props, the cyan halo overhead was crafted from lightweight materials; to make it appear floating above the head, we designed a dedicated support structure. While wearing it required a bit of finesse, the stability and on-camera visual impact met all expectations. The silver-grey wig features a nice gradient sheen, which, combined with the animal ears on top, delivered a level of character fidelity I'm genuinely pleased with.

During this subway photo shoot, I felt the poses didn't need to be overly complicated—standing still with a lightly raised clenched fist while gazing calmly into the lens effortlessly conveyed the character's composed, slightly headstrong aura. Meanwhile, the reflective floor provided a great compositional bonus, cleanly tracing the silhouette to keep the frame from feeling flat. As we shot, occasional passersby walked past, but everyone was very courteous; not being disrupted actually gave the atmosphere an authentic, candid Casual cosplay street feel.

For characters with a casual athletic style, location choices can be very grounded in everyday life without needing elaborate or ornate sets. Making good use of natural light, architectural lines, and clean background tones is often the key to great photos. This experience proved just that: without overly complicated lighting rigs, relying on the station's ambient lights and diffused natural light filtering in from the side was enough to bring out crisp, refreshing tones. For post-processing, I mainly adjusted color temperature and exposure, preserving the clean, cool-toned advantages of the raw images. The props and outfit were also very comfortable to wear, making moving around the station for framing completely effortless.
