[Misuzu Honma cosplay] Seeking Love Beyond Nihility in Sakura no Toki

The classic Sailor suit and deep navy twintails were the core elements of this Misuzu Honma shoot from the Galgame Sakura no Toki. I chose this design because its color palette is exceptionally iconic: the rich navy wig offers great texture, and the twin white lace hair accessories are lightweight to avoid dragging down the style. The oversized pink ribbon tie serves as the most eye-catching focal point, featuring a soft satin sheen that feels lovingly maintained.

During the shoot, I brought a tablet displaying her aloof official character sprite. Holding the tablet to obscure my face was an intentional choice to create a layered sense of reality overlaid by a digital world—channeling the feeling of seeking love beyond the void. The top-down second photo captured both the pleats of the gray skirt and clean leg lines while framing the illuminated screen, creating an intriguing dissonance of looking out at the world while staring back at oneself. Staged indoors with curtains drawn to diffuse a hazy, cool ambient light, the crisp lines of the Sailor suit and understated props allowed a quiet, solitary longing to unfold naturally in this 2D portrait.
