[Blue Archive and Arknights Cosplay] Warm Shards of 2025 Cosplay Photography

Flipping through the 2025 photo album, these color blocks and light and shadow pieced together are almost entirely records of cosplay photography created together with good friends. We are no longer confined to a single space, but have moved the fantasies from our phone and game screens into real-world armored cars, classrooms, riverbanks, and snowfields.
This year, we completed several groups of works with different worldviews, covering two major categories: daily school life and tactical sci-fi. To roleplay those characters we love, we truly spent a long time rushing between various real-world locations. In the morning, we might still be by the water feeling the breeze blowing through our hair, and in the afternoon, we would change into dark uniforms and sit before wooden school desks, trying our best to make our expressions fit the character's setting through the changing of light and shadow.
Photography is not as simple as pressing the shutter; as the coser appearing in the frame, I know very well that a great final photo is often inseparable from everyone's efforts on set. On the day of the shoot, some friends helped me organize the complex accessories, some were responsible for holding reflectors to control the exposure, while the photographer constantly motivated us, making the initially awkward start natural and full of fun.
In this set of pictures, there are quiet moments sitting on wooden floors flipping through dossiers, as well as a sense of matchup while shoulder-mounting tactical weapons in cool poses. Although we inevitably had to adjust our positioning repeatedly during the process, and even climb high or crouch low on muddy grass and outdoor steps, these fragments carrying the flavor of real life became our most precious memories instead.
This is probably the greatest meaning cosplay brings to me; it not only showcases the way I express my love for the works, but also connects my daily life with all the good friends around me. The moment the frame freezes, we laugh together, scream together, and comment on and correct the retouched photos together. This is no longer simply completing a job, but a genuine sharing of joy.
Reviewing these six sets of collages, each one hides a unique day in 2025. I am incredibly grateful to have such a group of good friends who can go crazy with me and experience the intersecting boundary between the 2D and 3D worlds. Leaving the highlights of these shards on social media is a record of this happiness, as well as a small gift to myself. Every shutter press is an imprint of our friendship. Next year's shooting plans have already quietly begun. I hope we can still be just like we are now, harvesting more surprises in every encounter.
