Cosplaying Cheshire in this white wedding-inspired ensemble gave me a very direct sense of grandeur paired with heavy substance. The wig was a bob with a subtle teal gradient, trimmed into numerous layers; to support her signature cat ears, the base padding at the crown was raised quite high to uphold the massive lace beast ears. The costume's intricate construction—with cutouts and lace trims along the bodice—demanded an exacting body fit, where any tiny bloat would immediately show. The choker and trailing bridal veil served as true highlights, heightening the overall luxury. To best accentuate the lines of the silhouette, I put careful thought into seamless undergarments beforehand to prevent visible banding.

Shooting convention photos at an expo hall inherently means battling busy, distracting backgrounds, which prompted our photographer to invest immense effort into portable lighting. We set up external battery strobes and leaned on wide apertures to melt the surroundings into smooth bokeh, preserving only the hall's industrial steel framework to create an appealing warm-cool contrast. Given the hall's chaotic, amber-tinted ambient glow, the strobes were gelled cool and paired with reflectors to lift facial shadows. To channel Cheshire's signature languid yet flirtatious presence, I anchored my balance across the lower back, drawing one leg upward to showcase the white lace stocking hem and the ankle ribbon bow. The thin convention carpet offered little cushion, making seated and kneeling poses a serious core workout while keeping my face effortless. The photographer framed tight to isolate eye contact amidst the crowds, blurring onlookers into soft bokeh circles. To elongate leg lines and define the jaw, I leaned slightly back while gently tucking my chin.

Makeup-wise, to complement the cool-toned hair, cool browns and frosted highlights were swept across the eyes, especially popping at the inner corners under strobe bursts. A glossy, dewy lip tint added a vulnerable touch. Braving the heat inside dense lace and tight fabrics required regular touch-ups with blotting sheets and pressed powder. In Cosplay post-production, we pushed a cool-white Japanese aesthetic, sharpening lace textures, dialing down background saturation, and preserving natural skin pores rather than over-smoothing. I deeply adore the candid vitality of live Convention photos, and this set faithfully fused Cheshire's playful 2D character charm with bridal elegance.
