Compared to those intricate, voluminous stage costumes or gowns, this casual, athletic-style outfit made moving around the convention hall significantly easier. Portraying Blue Archive's Asuna this time, I specifically picked a dark blue form-fitting short-sleeved top paired with a matching athletic mini-skirt to stay true to the Gymnastics uniform theme. Tying a bright blue track jacket around my waist not only added visual layering to the styling, but also enhanced dynamic kinetic energy during movement.

First, talking about hair and makeup: the wig was a long straight cut with bangs, finished with subtle blue gradient dip-dye tips to echo the high-tech blue halo floating above. Bright blue contacts were paired with eye makeup heavily shaded in warm reddish tones—especially beneath the lower eyelids—aiming to channel the character's signature blend of effortless languor and playful cunning. The lips were touched with a sheer pink gloss to keep the overall face clean and radiant. The floating halo at the crown served as the core soul of the entire look, requiring prolonged angle adjustments before shooting to ensure it preserved a levitating, mechanical presence regardless of lighting direction.

Foot traffic at the convention was massive and ambient hall illumination was quite chaotic; to prevent glare, the original photographer spent ample effort scouting angles. We found a relatively open space in a quiet corner of the hall, balancing the venue's overhead lighting with an external strobe to produce these crisp, clean light-and-shadow photos. Although the outfit appears simple, the top is closely fitted, making it prone to creasing with larger movements, so we continuously calibrated posture. Wearing a pastel blue scrunchie on my wrist and hanging a Millennium ID badge around my neck were small details that vastly boosted authenticity.

The bottle of mineral water held in my hand was initially just bought to quench my thirst at the con, but trying it out on camera revealed it acted as an extraordinarily natural interactive prop. Whether raising the water bottle in celebration or holding it in a casual salute, it infused an authentic slice-of-life relaxation akin to resting between workouts, looking infinitely more vivid than stiff posing. White athletic sneakers paired with black mid-calf socks harmonized with the Gymnastics uniform's athletic ambiance, making leg contours look powerful during kicks or crouches. In the past, cosplaying heavy, ornate characters left me exhausted after just a few shots; this time, with such lightweight gear, I could run around the hall freely, exchanging greetings with passersby who recognized the character, making the whole shoot incredibly enjoyable.
