These convention photos were captured along a cool-toned hallway inside the venue. The clean, sporty design of Ichinose Asuna's blue gymnastics uniform, combined with striking golden blonde hair, offers high visual contrast; while scouting locations, this stretch featuring reflective marble flooring and muted gray walls immediately caught my eye. The overhead spotlights provided excellent top lighting which, paired with a wide-aperture lens to blur out the background, separated the subject cleanly from the depth of the corridor.

Prepping the costume and props took meticulous care. The royal-blue short-sleeved dress has a tailored, form-fitting cut; the white accent lines at the waist and the pleats along the hem required constant smoothing to maintain a crisp, structured contour. The student ID lanyard around my neck serves as an iconic character prop while organically anchoring the visual center of the frame. The blue halo floating above the head was the crowning accent of the look—to keep it hovering securely, we integrated an internal support structure while matching it with light-blue hair ties and wristbands for a cohesive color story. For the wig, I selected silky long straight fibers styled with blunt bangs, complemented by vibrant blue contact lenses, a translucent base, and natural lips to faithfully convey her poised, refreshing aura.

On the day of the shoot, because the hemline is relatively short, seated poses required deliberate mindfulness regarding wardrobe security and posture. In the first shot, I opted for a seated stance with my right knee bent and left leg stretched forward, using the elongated leg line to break compositional monotony. Supporting myself with one hand on the floor while lightly adjusting the headband near my ear with the other, I locked eyes with the camera to bring out a natural S-curve silhouette and inject dynamic tension into the frame. The second photo shifted to a cross-legged sitting pose with hands raised alongside the head—a more relaxed stance that beautifully displayed the overall outfit silhouette and halo prop. Despite the polished floor, the photographer managed the exposure with precision so ground glares never compromised the clean aesthetic. The water bottle sitting nearby was a spontaneous behind-the-scenes candid captured between takes, adding a relatable slice-of-life charm to the set.

The convention floor was bustling with heavy foot traffic, so finding a relatively quiet alcove in the hallway and leveraging spatial depth felt like a genuine win. Every cosplay experience feels like a brief, cross-dimensional dialogue with the character; from smoothing the garments and choreographing gestures to polishing the final frame, every step demands patient craftsmanship. I adore this vivid clash of blue and gold, and I'm thrilled to share this on-site convention record with everyone.
