The fabric of this deep blue bodysuit carries a subtle luster. Once worn, the golden frog closures at the collar and waist, along with the cutout lace structures, took a bit of time to smooth out. The hollowed-out chest section and the attachment points for the white garter Stockings needed repeated adjustment to ensure no accidental wrinkles appeared during the shoot. The cat-ear hair accessory on my head was the focal point of the whole look: layers of white ruffled lace were sewn onto a deep navy base, and the black draping fabric on both sides swayed gently with movement, creating strong visual dimension.

The shooting location was set in an outdoor garden courtyard, against a backdrop of lush broadleaf greenery; the tropical foliage contrasted vividly against the deep blue attire. The natural lighting that day was very soft, with afternoon sunlight filtering through the leaves to hit my body, highlighting the layered sheen of the fabric's reflective texture. The light gray of the sofa served as a neutral background that didn't detract from the outfit. To harmonize with the natural ambiance of the scene, I kept my poses as relaxed as possible, steering clear of stiff posing.

To look my best in front of the lens, I experimented with multiple seated poses. Resting my chin on one hand or lightly caressing my neck showcased the details of the lace sleeves while making hand lines look more graceful. Crossing my legs naturally displayed the borders of the white over-the-knee Stockings and garter straps, while the black patent leather Mary Janes on my feet echoed the overall color palette. To emphasize the white plush capelet over my shoulders, I deliberately turned slightly in profile during shooting so the fluffy softness was more pronounced on camera, simultaneously accentuating a smooth neckline and shoulder contours.

For makeup, blue-gray colored contacts were paired with a silver-gray wig. The eye makeup deepened the contours, while a reddish lip tint brightened the overall complexion. While shooting, I had to remain conscious of keeping a sharp jawline while regulating my breathing to control body lines. Because it was outdoors, the foliage cast dappled, shifting shadows, requiring the photographer to continually adjust angles to find the best light plane. I coordinated with the lighting by slightly adjusting the angle of my face, ensuring catchlights fell accurately into my eyes.

The entire shoot focused heavily on harmonizing costume details with light and shadow. Blending qipao elements with maid styling, the clash of materials and coordination of accessories were genuinely intriguing. From adjusting the garment's fit to adapting to shifting outdoor natural light, the entire process demanded sharp focus—a complete homage to the character's persona. The final photos impeccably preserved the texture of the garments, with natural transitions in light and shadow, evoking a serene mood that perfectly captured Cheshire Cosplay in Azur Lane.
