Today, I'm sharing this NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Yu Linglong cosplay photoshoot. The shoot's theme was set beneath the moon, with a scene arranged with white plum blossoms, blue roof tiles, and an immense full-moon backdrop board, evoking an ethereal, dreamily serene atmosphere. The costume's design tests attention to detail significantly. The semi-translucent sheer tulle and holographic fabrics produce subtle color-shifting effects under the lights, while the midriff cut-outs and golden metallic framework must contour precisely to body lines. To ensure peak condition during the shoot, I did plenty of homework beforehand, ensuring that while it was comfortable to wear, it also visually presented a weightless texture. The wig features a pink-to-purple gradient with gentle curls at the tips, and the plush beast ears on both sides required a generous amount of hairspray and bobby pins to stay in place—tilting easily with the slightest movement—so I was constantly touching up makeup and adjusting the wig between takes.

The first leg-raising pose actually took quite a while to shoot. To find an angle that flattered the leg lines without creating awkward creases in the garment, the photographer and I went through multiple rounds of adjustments. This pose heavily tested core strength—maintaining balance while keeping the feather fan in hand looking natural and relaxed. The side-profile shot focused on highlighting the lace embroidery and transparent tulle across the back; light coming in from the side accentuated the hidden jacquard patterns woven into the fabric. The pose sitting on the roof eaves was primarily meant to leverage the three-dimensional depth of the set pieces, giving the composition richer layers and letting the leg lines extend along the slope of the tiles for a more expansive visual flow.

For makeup, to harmonize with the overall cool, aloof aesthetic, a reddish-pink eyeshadow blend was used to accentuate eye contours. The lips were done in a glossy, hydrated red that reflected subtly under studio lights. Because the scene's lighting leaned cool, contouring and highlighting were applied relatively heavily to ensure facial features stood out three-dimensionally against the dark background. In terms of lighting, to enhance the moonlit atmosphere, the key light utilized a cooler color temperature, supplemented by fill lights to brighten the face. Since the sheer fabric transmits light, we added a diffuser screen behind me to prevent the garment from losing detail. The entire shooting process placed great emphasis on integrating body lines with the setting, with immense care poured into everything from hair and makeup to set dressing. I hope this Chinese-style cosplay and Fantasy photography capture brings this enchanting fantasy vision to everyone in this Anime cosplay set.
