Last year's Odaiba photo set has finally been "born" from the camera. Being blown by the seaside breeze, capturing moments with both Hong Kong-style romance and a hint of ethereal atmosphere, was a special sense of achievement. As an Azur Lane fan, when challenging Cheshire's look, I paid special attention to the overall tailoring of the costume. Especially the layering of the skirt and the restoration of headwear details; to present that fluttering dynamic in the lens, there was actually a lot of communication and fine-tuning on site. The architectural background of Odaiba comes with a high-end industrial and modern feel, combined with the open area by the sea, which is very suitable for this kind of visual expression with cold color tones. During post-production color grading, I tried to preserve the natural flow of light and shadow, letting myself blend better into the azure background tones rather than standing out abruptly. The composition of every photo pursues balance, attempting to find that point between motion and tranquility. This record of images spanning time can really take people back to that sunny afternoon at the shooting site in an instant. The moment I saw the finished photos, those moments of aligning lenses and holding poses in the wind became the most precious memories. I hope this set of works can bring everyone a little resonance regarding "Hong Kong-style romance."
