This photoshoot was chosen to take place in a rocky area by the sea, and the overall environment was perfect for showcasing the character's tranquil temperament. Ample sunlight and the sea breeze added natural movement to the frames, and the shimmering ripples on the water surface also served as excellent light embellishments. The outfit selected was a pure white dress with exquisite lace and bowtie details, paired with a black ribbon hairband and a matching plush toy of the same color palette; the minimalist black-and-white color scheme appeared clean and sharp against the backdrop of the sea and sky.

During the on-site photoshoot, the rock surfaces were relatively rough and irregular, so adjusting the sitting postures required extra care. Finding the right camera positions to let the skirt hem naturally drape over the stones took quite a while. The shot of looking back at the lens was actually captured in a headwind environment; the hair being blown by the wind instead brought out a highly natural dynamic movement. The composition of reaching out with my back facing the lens hoped to give the frame a sense of extension, guiding the gaze along with the motion toward the distant sea horizon. The wig selected was pale golden long hair, combed into low twin-tails and fixed with ribbons, with the hair strands presenting an excellent luster under the sunlight. For the makeup, a clear, translucent base was paired with pink-toned eyeshadow, striving to recreate the character's pure temperament.

Huge thanks to the photographer's patient guidance throughout the shooting process. When facing intense natural light, we resolved overexposure and excessively heavy shadows through rock shading and local fill light, ensuring the layered feel of the final photos. Although a waterside photoshoot brings some inconveniences, the ultimate sense of naturalness is hard to replace with a studio shoot. Regarding the interpretation of the character, I tried combining gentleness with a moderate sense of detachment. The pairing of the black rabbit plushie and the white dress is not only a visual symbol but also enhances the character's recognition. Choosing a high-quality plush toy as a prop allows it to maintain a good shape when held or hugged.

My insight on scene selection lies in mastering the timing of the light. The light around three o'clock in the afternoon carries a tilted angle, which can both outline contours and prevent the water surface reflections from being blinding. To prevent the skirt hem from touching the water, one must always keep an eye on the water level; when the shooting space is limited, the leg posture needs to be adjusted to the optimal angle, striving to recreate the natural state of the scene rather than purely relying on post-processing editing. Wigs easily tangle outdoors, requiring careful combing during intervals to maintain a fluffy feel. The overall styling remained restrained, preserving only the hairband and the black rabbit as two core elements, thereby highlighting the person's expression.

It's worth mentioning that this shoot was actually quite challenging. First, sitting on irregular rocks required overcoming psychological fear; to present the most relaxed posture, the body's center of gravity had to be stable to withstand the water splashes thrown up by waves hitting the rocks. Second, the white fabric of the costume could extremely easily lose details under such high-intensity light if exposure wasn't controlled properly. We chose to try back and forth from multiple angles, ultimately determining parameters that both preserved the ambient light and made the person's skin tone look translucent. The choice of props was also carefully weighed; the final black rabbit toy knocked down was not just a styling embellishment, but also assumed the role of balancing the composition during physical interaction, with its strong contrast against the white dress adding a highlight to the frame.

Furthermore, in scene selection and composition, we intentionally avoided areas with many tourists and chose a relatively secluded corner, which made the overall atmosphere of the photos purer. The fine and bright weather endowed this shoot with excellent natural conditions; the pure tones of the blue sky and green water achieved a wonderful fit with the character's cool yet gentle traits. I always feel that a subtle resonance exists between the scene and the character; only when the external environment harmoniously unifies with the character setting can truly moving photos be captured. This set of photos might not have overly exaggerated emotional expressions, but that peaceful, focused atmosphere is precisely what I want to convey. Though the entire process was exhausting, the satisfaction brought by the final output was highly authentic; a creation born from deep focus and dedication is inherently highly meaningful.
