[Azur Lane Laffey cosplay] The Languid Little Bunny at Port Midsummer Refreshing Festival

This time, I'm sharing Laffey's summer skin from Azur Lane, choosing the 2025 Port Midsummer Refreshing Festival event venue for this set of Convention photos. The visual core of this look is the refreshing feel of the blue-and-white palette combined with Laffey's signature languid aura, instantly conveying a cool summer breeze. The costume is packed with rich details. First is the iconic long white wig; despite reaching the waist, it maintained great volume and smoothness in the venue environment, with bangs neatly trimmed to frame the face. The bunny ears headpiece was reinforced to sit securely, which, paired with the blue ribbon bow and pink pom-poms on the headpiece, maxed out the overall cuteness. The high-gloss dark blue bodysuit was the most eye-catching part of this styling; this unique reflective fabric created a water-like shimmering ripple under the convention's natural lighting, bringing out the character's cool summer vibe wonderfully.

The top was layered with a loose white cardigan, where the cuffs not only featured blue fabric patchwork but were also trimmed with white fuzzy pom-poms, adding depth while making the silhouette look more full. The lower half coordination matched Laffey's theme perfectly. The White stockings feature light blue bunny prints, which serve as the soul of the entire lower-body design. For footwear, I chose glossy black Mary Jane shoes, uniquely embellished with little white bunny ornaments that echoed the prints on the stockings. In terms of props, the little white bunny plush hanging across the chest was another faithful accessory; holding it in one arm felt like genuinely caring for a real little bunny. As for the shooting environment, the set design at the 2025 Port Midsummer Refreshing Festival was very thoughtful: the backdrop featured blue-and-white striped awnings, wooden window frames, and simulated brick walls, harmonizing seamlessly with Laffey's blue-and-white outfit, while the lifebuoy prop on the ground added a touch of beach resort ambiance. Wearing this outfit to the convention was very convenient to move around in; although the bodysuit has a glossy finish, it didn't feel stuffy inside the hall. To recreate Laffey's dorky persona of being able to fall asleep anytime, anywhere, I intentionally relaxed my facial expressions with a slightly vacant gaze, hoping to convey that 'sleepy yet helping out at the store' feeling with this refreshing cosplay outfit. These Convention photos are the result of the photographer and me finding angles amidst the bustling venue, striving for harmony in backdrop and lighting.
