This time, I'm bringing you a Hatsune Miku and Cinnamoroll collaboration cosplay. I've always had a '100 Hatsune Project' in mind, and this time it has smoothly progressed to #002, which can be considered steady progress in the 'once-in-a-lifetime' series. The combination of Cinnamoroll and Hatsune Miku is absolute double-fandom bliss! To present the best possible result, I did a lot of homework beforehand regarding the costume and details.
The design of this outfit really hits all the right spots for me; it's an overall white-toned Lolita style. The inner white tulle skirt hem features translucent polka dot patterns, covered by an apron with exquisite lace trims, creating a very light and airy sense of layering when moving. The apron and waist are embellished with classic black-and-white plaid and striped large bows, adding a bit of everyday maid texture to the overall sweet tone. To recreate Cinnamoroll's elements, the skirt is printed with light blue floppy-eared puppy patterns, and the apron also features corresponding embroidered lettering.
The hair accessories are also a key focus this time, styled into fluffy floppy-eared shapes with black-and-white plaid bows tied on both sides, paired with a blue-green wig and two thick braided pigtails. Wearing them makes me feel all soft and fluffy. A red '01' mark is also attached to the left arm—a detail that must never be missed.
The shooting location was chosen at the CICF outdoor area. The natural light on the day was very sufficient, and the photographer NightDiva is great at capturing dynamic moments. In my hand, I held a plush doll of Hatsune Miku and Cinnamoroll with the same expression, and also prepared a transparent water cup printed with the pattern as a prop. The photos include both holding the doll while making a peace sign and a candid moment of tossing the doll into the air. That white plush carpet was laid on the grey floor tiles; sitting on it was actually a bit warm, but the resulting effect is very clean. The combination of black platform leather shoes and white lace-trimmed socks also visually well-extended the leg lines. The platform shoes and lace socks of this styling are the finishing touch, producing crisp footsteps when walking, which attracted quite a few fellow fans outside the venue to come over for photos and chats.
This time, from makeup and styling to costume details, I tried my best to match the settings. The eye makeup specifically used pinkish contact lenses and reddish eyeshadow smudging, hoping to showcase Hatsune Miku's sweet yet slightly playful atmosphere. There were a lot of people at the outdoor venue, with passing tourists and photographers all in the background. Being able to complete this set of shooting in such a lively environment is truly a great sense of achievement. In the choice of composition and lighting, I also tried my best to highlight the translucent texture of the white skirt and the cuteness of the plush doll. Next, I will continue preparing for the subsequent plans, hoping to smoothly fill out these 100 styles bit by bit.
