[Hatsune Miku Cosplay] Foshan CWD1 Convention Photo: Comfortable Outfit with Black Stockings and Sneakers

This set of convention photos shot at Foshan Comic World D1 has finally been sorted out. The overall shooting environment was in a spacious indoor exhibition hall. Since the overhead lighting on-site was quite strong, the photographer brought fill lights to balance the indoor color temperature, and I'm personally very satisfied with the resulting skin texture.

Let's talk about the details of this outfit first. The wig chosen this time is a teal blue with very authentic color, free from any cheap plastic sheen. The hair was styled in classic twin tails with long braids. This length actually places very high demands on fixing; I used plenty of bobby pins and invisible hairnets to prop up the roots, creating a fluffy yet naturally cascading effect. The two long braids you see in the photos are actually quite heavy. To prevent them from deforming during shooting, I intentionally maintained a slight head elevation. Looking at the final result, the hair texture is preserved really well without appearing messy.

For clothing, I chose a black short-sleeved collared shirt paired at the neckline with a black, green, and white plaid tie. This color scheme is super refreshing; it tones down the vividness of the teal blue without looking too dull. The lower half features a matching plaid pleated mini skirt with a great waist cut, and paired with opaque black stockings, it visually elongates leg proportions. I especially want to mention the white sneakers on my feet: while many might think wearing high heels fits traditional character styling better, at an anime convention where you stand and walk for hours, sneakers are definitely the most practical choice. The red and blue details on these shoes also happen to echo the overall palette. The ensemble retains anime character traits while embracing casual, comfortable everyday style.

For props, I held a yellow plush doll styled like exaggerated comic-book snack packaging. Its fabric is soft, making it super comforting to hold. During the shoot, this large plush acted not only as a great atmospheric prop, but also helped cover up any awkward body poses. Placing it on the plush carpet in the second picture while sitting on the floor created an instantly cozy and relaxed photoshoot vibe on-site.

During the shoot, there were many other visitors inside the hall, making the background occasionally cluttered. However, photographer NightDiva controlled the lens focal length and depth of field to blur the background beautifully, retaining the vibrant convention atmosphere while highlighting me as the main subject. In terms of posing guidance, we tried several different angles: half-body close-ups holding the plush, full-body perspectives sitting on the floor, and slightly high-angle interactive perspectives. In particular, the photo reaching out toward the camera in figure four featured a bold perspective composition, using the arm's extension to enhance spatial depth and creating great dramatic tension.

Cosplay is truly such a fun activity. The moment you put on the character's costume, don the wig, grab the props, and step in front of the camera, you automatically enter character mode. Choosing this casual-oriented outfit ensemble without too many bulky metal accessories allowed me to move around more freely while maintaining character traits. Even though the convention was crowded that day, capturing clean, narrative convention photos in such a high-traffic environment was all thanks to the photographer's patience. I really love the cool yet slightly playful vibe conveyed by these photos. I hope these convention photos, unbound by fancy backdrops, give everyone a glimpse of another side of this character's charm in a real-world anime convention setting.
