Before this shoot, I already decided to create a lazy and healing atmosphere. When I saw this outfit, the black-and-gold halter short top paired with white plush arm sleeves instantly reminded me of a cat basking in the sun in a courtyard. The small star patterns on the plush arm sleeves perfectly neutralized the maturity of the black clothing, adding some playful elements to the overall styling. The two conspicuous large bells on the sides of the head are the soul of this look; with just a slight movement, crisp sounds echo through the studio, which is also highly helpful for emotional immersion during the shoot.

The shooting location was in the studio's Chinese tea room scene, with an antique calligraphy screen behind and a solid wood Go board right beside it. To be honest, although the big white plush tail looks very ethereal, it actually takes up a lot of space when sitting. To prevent the tail from being pressed out of shape, I had to consciously adjust my center of gravity. The photographer adopted a relatively hard, high-contrast side-backlight this time, just happening to light up the hair strands of the silver-white wig and the edges of the plush arm sleeves, making the whole person look as if carrying a fuzzy halo. Paired with the go board and retro furniture we prepared, the cutting lines of light and shadow both enhanced the three-dimensional feel of the frame and kept it from looking too flashy.

When taking photos, one's state is also very important. In this set of photos, I tried several different movements, such as resting the back of my hand against my chin or raising both hands to form cat paws, all aiming to use body language to convey that both lazy and coquettish feel of a "cat's daily life." Like cradling my chin and looking into the lens in Image 3 with a relaxed gaze, it just happened to match that line: "Go tell your worries to a cat." You must interact more with the camera when shooting; don't be afraid of repeating movements. Every lens has a small change, and splicing them together forms a highly vivid photography set.

The form-fitting cut of the one-piece dress placed certain restrictions on movements this time, but it consequently displayed an excellent sense of curves. The classic combination of black-and-white color-blocking, paired with distinct red thin string accents, is minimalist without losing visual focus. The overall styling possesses both the traits of a Kemonomimi girl and a touch of coolness and elegance; this sense of contrast is highly charming. To fit this kind of scene with an Eastern flavor, I tried to rein in overly exaggerated liveliness in my expressions, turning instead to softer, more mysterious, and lazier eyes to cooperate with the elegant calligraphy characters flowing on the screen and the black and white vertical-and-horizontal lines crisscrossing on the go board.

The reason why I put so much effort into the emotions this time was actually to restore the essence of that phrase: The world cannot exist without cats, and a cat's attraction lies not only in cuteness but more in that nonchalant yet comforting healing power. Experiencing the cuteness of a cat-like character through cosplay—this shooting process itself feels like being gently tapped by a cat's fluffy paw, which is incredibly healing. The light in the photos was cast very warmly; clearly, it was in a slightly quiet and elegant traditional style studio photography environment, yet because of the white fur, wig, and these playful postures, it gained an extra layer of warmth. I hope when everyone sees this set of photos, you can also feel this healing under the classical courtyard and set aside those complex and trivial worries for now in this Anime-style photography and Healing photography work.
