[W Cosplay] Zero-Stress Comfortable Convention Record from Arknights Carnival

For Day 1 of Hypergryph Carnival, I once again opted for the most convenient setup: short-sleeve shirt, shorts, plus a wig and horns straight out the door. Anyone familiar with me knows I basically do a W cosplay for almost every offline event, except Ambience Synesthesia (since horns genuinely get confiscated at security). I dragged myself up lazily around 9:00 AM, and upon arriving at the venue, the first thing I discovered was that my oshi's character badges were already sold out—a total mini-heartbreak. Surprisingly, when I headed to the Arknights: Endfield booth merchandise area around 2:00 PM, there was virtually no queue, making the buying process super smooth. Although the maze-like S-curve queue design remained unchanged, fewer people is what truly matters. The Ambience Synesthesia art for this edition was absolutely divine. I blind-pulled two Evangelist merch items and brought them home for my mom to guess who was inside; she instantly declared it was Pramanix, and when opened, it really was two Pramanix items. Never doubt Mom—Mom is always right.

My entire day followed a relaxed stroll-and-browse pace, skipping any project requiring a queue. I spent most of the time wandering around taking photos for Cosplay photography of high-quality cosplayers. The official cosplayers' expressions were so accurate it was pure satisfaction. This edition felt like it absorbed the essence of the previous IS (Integrated Strategies) exhibition—not only inviting back actor Xiao Kui, but also adding a brilliant story performance for Texas and Lappland, triggering nostalgic high-energy vibes like returning to that summer of 2025. I also spotted several hilarious wheelchair Operators around the exhibition area; their movements and demeanor were so spot-on that they were instant memes. Sui family fans truly feasted their eyes this time—Big Brother, Second Brother, Big Sister, Fourth Sister, Nian, Dusk, and Shu all gathered together, which was breathtaking. Second Brother's flexible and plump tail in particular had me grabbing several snapshots, and I even secretly snapped Mango. By the way, be careful when zooming in for portraits on an iPhone—the resulting raw images easily turn into a muddy mess, a painful lesson learned.

Later, I ambled over to the Endfield booth. Watching Tangtang and Xiao Chen, it felt as though they were playing themselves—not acting at all. But the biggest surprise was running into my long-revered goddess Suannai Suannai again, making the whole trip feel 100% worth it. Although the day was pretty casual, the Hypergryph Carnival atmosphere was as fantastic as ever. I hope I can grab tickets again next time to meet up with everyone, leaving behind the cozy memories of this Anime convention daily life.
