[Amiya Cosplay] Guangzhou CICF: The Wonderful Collaboration Between Blue-and-White Plaid and White Rabbit Creamy Candy

Today, this set of Arknights Amiya x White Rabbit Creamy Candy collaboration styling from Guangzhou CICF finally came out. Although the weather in Guangzhou was exceptionally hot, and wearing this blue-and-white plaid dress, white ruffled apron, plus the wig and long rabbit ears made me sweat uncontrollably after just a few minutes outdoors, seeing the frames frozen in the camera made me feel that all the hard work turned into motivation.

The focus of the overall makeup and styling this time was on recreating the character's iconic traits. The blue-purple contact lenses are very striking; paired with the dark hair color and the blue-and-white plaid main color palette, I tied a small ponytail on the side and accented it with a blue flower hair tie. The pair of greyish-brown long rabbit ears with a plush texture on top of my head is undoubtedly the visual center of gravity for the entire look. Although walking through the convention with them required being careful to avoid surrounding display stands or crowds, they are indeed an indispensable part of this setting.

When taking this set of photos, we deliberately chose an outdoor environment with a courtyard. The light grey sofa and white woven hanging basket chair were highly compatible with this refreshing style of dress. The outdoor natural light spilled from diagonally above, piercing through the tree shade to leave interwoven light and shadow on the skirt hem, white short socks, and shiny black patent leather shoes, making the texture of the blue-and-white plaid fabric look very three-dimensional. Thanks to photographer Orange Peel's professionalism in capturing candid shots—whether sitting on the sofa in a relaxed, slightly sideways posture or standing next to the wicker chair reaching out a hand for a playful interaction, they perfectly captured the agility I wanted to convey.

I also really love the details on the costume, especially the row of little rabbit silhouette prints on the apron's hem, which echoes the headwear beautifully, adding a touch of childlike innocence without looking cluttered. The white ruffled neckline, red piping on the cuffs, and the waist-cinching cut give this blue-and-white dress a touch of classic maid outfit elements, making it overall refreshing and exquisite.

The long White Rabbit Creamy Candy collaboration pillow held in my hands is the prop highlight of this shoot. Its sense of volume is very strong, feeling highly solid in hand. During the shoot, I would hold it close at times or grip it with one hand at others; this kind of prop not only gives the hands a natural place to rest, eliminating any awkwardness when posing, but also enhances the sense of interaction in the frames, making this entire outfit look more vivid and playful. Whether quietly leaning back in the hanging basket chair or standing up to stretch my limbs, the coordination of the prop allowed the photo's narrative depth to extend.

This convention was truly tiring yet happy. The long-haired wig was prone to tangling when it was windy outdoors, and wearing the rabbit ear headband for a long time caused a noticeable pressing sensation. Although the white socks and black leather shoes are a classic and versatile pairing, walking a whole day in the exhibition hall heavily tested my feet. However, this is the daily life and persistence of a cosplayer. Every time I see the flash go off and see a professional photographer patiently guiding me, I feel that all the dedication is highly valuable. This bright and refreshing color scheme also perfectly fits the early summer atmosphere; set against the greenery and dappled sunlight, the natural tones and character temperament achieve an excellent balance. There's no need to intentionally force complex poses; a single glance looking straight into the lens, or a slight smile while hugging the prop, can convey that exclusive sense of atmosphere. The compositions for this shoot are all very clean, with the character centered, not only fully displaying the full body but also taking care of every detail of the costume. As part of my convention memories, it is highly worth treasuring.
