From obtaining this costume design to entering the studio for Red studio photography, the overall schedule was quite tight. The stylistic hallmarks of Lappland lie in the cut of the trench coat and the fluffy fur trim. To avoid appearing bulky, the shoot demanded strict standing posture—pulling the shoulders back and pairing the outfit with tight High-heeled tall boots to elongate the lower body proportions.

For makeup, the main focus was managing the dry feel of wearing red contact lenses and accurately drawing the facial markings, where even a slight misalignment would compromise fidelity. The shoot lasted four to five hours with two makeup touch-ups, and the wig's luster subtly shifted across different lighting angles. The dual sword props were larger than expected, especially the curvature around the rings, requiring precise grip and leverage.

The sharp contrast of the red backdrop in the studio really tests the character's expression, as darker areas swallow up fine details; the cold, menacing presence and oppressive aura had to be conveyed through focused eye contact. The shoot was divided into several compositions, spanning close-up expression portraits and full-body sword-wielding poses. Looking back over the shoulder showcased body lines, while front-facing stances emphasized the character's gallant demeanor.

With the studio lighting, overhead lights deepened facial shadows, which—combined with the character's signature pale complexion and the dark tones of the black trench coat—brought out the complete aura. In showcasing the legs, the high-heeled boots offered a tremendous advantage, making the calf lines appear straighter and longer while supporting the trench coat's hem so the visual weight did not feel bottom-heavy. Many favorite highlights lie in subtle details, such as the blue wristbands, the metallic chest accessories, and the chains and fur trim on the cuffs. After adjusting prop placements and experimenting with poses, several sharp, striking angles were discovered. Enjoy the photos and experience the authentic texture of this setup.

During shooting, the fur trim along the coat hem flowed gracefully when turning, though it occasionally caught on the props, requiring the assistant's help to adjust. Keeping the back straight throughout was essential to amplify the character's commanding presence, perfectly fitting her distinct demeanor. Opting for a minimalist red studio backdrop was also intended to highlight the black-and-white palette and ruthless edge; post-processing preserved the purity of the background to intensify the visual impact. Under prolonged lighting, the wig tended to slightly deform from the heat, but thankfully the final images turned out very satisfying. With meticulous attention to detail and high on-camera completeness, it made for a smooth and rewarding cosplay experience.
