This time, a stage set equipped with band instruments was built in the studio specifically to shoot this stage performance outfit photoshoot of Momoka Hanyuu from Arknights. To match the genuine concert aesthetic, the garment fabric was chosen in a glossy pink satin; while gorgeous, it easily created harsh glares under intense studio strobes, requiring ongoing adjustments of lighting angles with the photographer @BaiYouXiaoXingTong📸 throughout the session.

The wardrobe details are remarkably elaborate: the chest features crisscrossing white lace-up ties, and the shoulders are styled into generously voluminous puff sleeves trimmed with cascading tiers of ruffles. The waistline is accented not only by a blue-and-orange bow, but also draped with decorative pearl chains. The most eye-catching feature is undoubtedly the multi-layered white lace train flowing behind, fluttering gracefully in motion. To elevate the overall styling's completeness, I paired it with White stockings adorned with lace frills and tiny red ribbon bows, alongside red strappy high heels—allowing my leg lines to harmonize seamlessly with the costume during stage movements, projecting a true stage idol flair.

The magic wand prop in hand was custom-crafted separately, featuring a red winged heart frame and a blue-to-pink gradient along the handle. Because the prop carried noticeable weight, maintaining steady wrist control was essential to perform fluid swinging motions. For makeup, matching the wavy pink-orange twintail wig, the eye styling incorporated red colored contacts with pink eyeshadow, accented by glitter sparkles around the eye contour to enhance facial dimension under the intense lighting.

The entire shoot was a demanding physical workout. Since this is an outfit tailored for live performance, many compelling frames required active movement to freeze the action—such as catching the instant the flared skirt swung open or striking dynamic, leaping stances with raised legs. To prevent the lace train from tangling or looking chaotic, every pose demanded core control to preserve the sweeping curves of the hemline. The photographer captured numerous dynamic frames; set against the cool-toned backdrop of drum kits and electric guitars and enhanced by the blue-and-yellow gradient screen reflections simulating a live concert venue, the spatial depth and stage atmosphere came together vividly.

From early planning to final export, considerable thought went into this set. From pattern tailoring to wig cutting and styling, every detail was dedicated to matching the character's signature traits. Stage costumes exhibit vastly different textures in person compared to photography; this time, crisper, firmer stage strobes were selected to accentuate the textile materials. I hope this energetic stage style successfully conveys the character's warmth and dynamic spirit through still photography. With vivid color contrasts and expansive physical gestures, it truly fulfilled my dream of staging an authentic concert performance right inside a studio.
