On the second day of Comicup 31, I caught a few convention photos of Tanga Ibuki using the afternoon light. The silhouette of this military coat is very crisp, and the red and black color scheme, paired with the gold button details, brings out the texture perfectly under backlighting. The halo special effect on top of the head was added in post-production, but the metal brooch and cap badge on the clothing are genuinely made of metal, providing a very realistic drape. When we were shooting, the sun was still quite strong and the reflection on the grass was intense, so the shutter speed was kept relatively high to preserve the background's greenery and blurred layers as much as possible. This time, I also specially paired it with yellow ankle boots to create a bit of color-clashing with the dark system of the outfit, ensuring the overall look isn't too heavy or dull. The plush small bag prop is also a little highlight of the character; holding it in hand happens to balance the weight of the coat. The biggest challenge with convention photos is that you can be interrupted by passersby at any moment, but fortunately, this specific area didn't have many people, allowing for a highly efficient shoot. As an Ibuki fan, being able to restore her cool yet slightly adorable temperament makes me very satisfied.
