She wore a translucent light blue wig with blunt bangs and a white headband, accompanied by white lace trim details along the neckline, plus a prominent gold anchor pendant on her chest, bringing a vibrant oceanic breeze right to the fore. Her makeup was clean and natural, and the blue contact lenses made her look wonderfully bright and spirited. Because the ambient lighting inside the exhibition hall was somewhat chaotic, I deliberately adjusted my camera exposure settings during the shoot to preserve her refreshing and energetic charm.

Right after that, I photographed the cosplayer with white hair and red eyes; her cool-toned fair skin paired with rich red lipstick projected an exceptionally commanding presence before the lens. Like the blue-haired cosplayer, her styling was predominantly white, yet the same color palette yielded completely different vibes under different interpretations: one radiated innocent, lively freshness, while the other delivered a mysterious, aloof visual impact. Their on-stage interaction was also wonderfully in sync, making every candid shot effortlessly picturesque.

However, what truly surprised me and made me click the shutter repeatedly were the cosplayers who appeared next. Among them, the look featuring black twin-tails with distinct blue highlights completely nailed the rock band vibe. She wore a glossy black leather halter top with a unique knot-cut design at the chest that added rich layering, paired with black-and-white detached sleeves, creating sleek lines and a crisp, spirited edge. Combined with the black electric guitar in her hands, highlighted by the venue's distinctive neon and spotlights, it looked completely like a live concert stage. I specifically captured several moments of her playing the guitar and adjusting her posture; her focused gaze and elongated body language were utterly captivating and full of tension, clearly showing her dedication to presenting the look.

Then came the official cosplayer wearing a golden forehead ornament. Her outfit design was ingenious: the top featured a white halter backless cut that accentuated her shoulder and neck lines, seamlessly transitioned with a black leather choker for balanced layering. The midriff was cinched with a black-and-gold waistband and thin black straps, which, paired with the tiered white ruffled miniskirt below, beautifully highlighted both body proportions and the flowing movement of the garment. When she turned her head sideways and lightly grasped her skirt hem, the visual tension was at its absolute peak; moreover, her clean, translucent makeup and captivating red eyes made her facial features look remarkably exquisite and radiant.

In truth, being able to smoothly capture this photo set was also a stroke of luck. The foot traffic at the convention was immense, making it no small feat to bypass the crowds and photograph all these cosplayers while in peak condition. The setup of the Azur Lane booth not only honored the game's nautical and ship themes, but the warm yellow background spotlights interwoven with the cool overhead venue lights also created superb lighting conditions. During the shoot, I habitually used a wide aperture to emphasize the subjects while preserving a subtle background glow, ensuring the final shots were rich in detail while retaining the vibrant energy of Comicup 31.

I am very satisfied with the photos captured this time; they include wide panorama shots of the booth as well as close-ups focusing on expressions and costume details, capturing candid, natural states as the cosplayers interacted in the exhibition area and posed with musical instrument props. The official cosplayers were remarkably dedicated, maintaining their makeup throughout the day and handling various musical instruments and accessories with top-tier professional offline performance standards. In particular, for the electric guitar look, the lacquer reflection under bright light and the glossy leather texture were handled flawlessly, making the entire visual stand out with enduring appeal.

Being able to appreciate so many exquisite, dedicated cosplay looks up close at Comicup 31 was truly a wonderful experience.
