[Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt cosplay] Urban Shopping Daily Life with Panty

This time, my partner and I shot this urban street style photo set for a session of cosplay photography. During early communication with the photographer, we wanted to capture the characters' usual lazy and sweet vibe together, so we skipped overly complex studio setups and went straight to downtown commercial streets and parks for our casual street style shooting. The entire photo set follows a refreshing documentary style, using props like colorful shopping bags and a bouquet of red roses straight from the florist to enhance the everyday atmosphere. Especially the shots crossing the zebra crossing with shopping bags perfectly captured the "sisters or couples out on a wild shopping spree" feeling.

In terms of setting, the character in the red dress is a highly eye-catching presence in the overall visuals; the red dress paired with high heels naturally stands out in a business district backdrop. The character with orange hair wearing overalls and a backpack serves as the visual anchor of our frame, using a green and orange color-block to neutralize the intense color of the red dress. The hardest part during the shoot was crossing the zebra crossing, as we had to time our walks back and forth during the brief intervals of the traffic lights. We needed our expressions to be spot on while keeping the shopping bags looking completely natural. We actually walked across that intersection about ten times; toward the end, the photographer was constantly staring at the crossing timer's seconds.

When the scene switched to the park lawn, the atmosphere instantly quieted down. For the composition of lying on the bench, we tried several poses, and the final action of sleeping with my head resting on her lap felt the most relaxed. Actually, the sun was blazing hot during the shoot, and at the moment I lay down, I almost fell asleep for real. The actual outdoor temperature made the lazy state feel even more natural.

While preparing this photo set, I paid special attention to restoring the accessories, such as the way the headphones were worn, the embroidered patches on the jacket, and the belt details. The makeup was also refined step by step, and styling the wig took nearly three hours to achieve that lightweight, fluffy volume, ensuring it showed the correct colors under natural light without looking too fake.

Many thanks to the photographer for patiently guiding us under the high outdoor heat and capturing so many vivid moments. From early preparation to the actual shoot, we put a lot of heart into this project, and the final photos truly present a comfortable atmosphere. I am very satisfied that this set of images can bring a relaxed and pleasant feeling to the audience.
