The theme for this photoshoot booking was set in an indoor scene with a library or forbidden library style, primarily aiming to present an elf atmosphere with a touch of mystery.

Regarding the costume, the top and skirt were modified by my dear friend @TianDunDun. After getting the initial version, the actual wearing experience improved significantly. Especially the red velvet panels combined with the white faux-fur trim, which show excellent texture under the warm lighting. The pink-and-white striped ribbons on the twin-tails and the small golden apple hair ornament on top of the head are the soulful elements of this look.

The props prepared on the day of the shoot were quite rich. The white plush toy was the finishing touch, visually fitting in perfectly as I interacted with this red-and-white outfit. The old newspapers, vintage kerosene lamp, and globe on the table, along with the background packed with books, added a lot of academic atmosphere to this shoot. In particular, the metallic globe placed at the corner of the table produced an amazing effect with its metallic reflection under the dim indoor light.

The photographer @MaoJuJueLeNi (Cat Rejected You) is great at capturing details within this quiet atmosphere. For instance, the shots of me sitting on the edge of the table flipping through a scroll, as well as the close-ups looking into the lens while hugging the plush toy, handle the layers of light and shadow with deep emotion. The setting at the venue @CiYuanYing matched this European retro theme beautifully.

Finally, I'd like to share some behind-the-scenes stories. The apple hair ornament on the head and the spiral twin-tail structure were extremely easy to get messy during dynamic candid captures, so we spent a lot of time adjusting the styling and avoiding wardrobe malfunctions. It turns out that trying to master an anti-gravity hairstyle overnight is practically impossible. Thanks to the photographer's patience in finding the right angles on-site, we were able to capture that light and natural feel in the final photos. Although the entire process of this real-scene studio shooting was more exhausting than expected, the integration of the scene in the final edits is truly satisfying. For the makeup, I tried my best to keep it clean and translucent, paired with a restrained expression, hoping to present that quiet and slightly detached elf girl temperament. The layers of the skirt and the red-and-white striped tights also showed excellent visual effects from specific angles. In the candid shots of flipping through the newspaper and hugging the plush toy, this natural interaction made the overall atmosphere even more vivid as part of my cosplay photography journey.
