I actually put a lot of thought into the set design for this Dolia Phantasmal Pearl look. With long white hair paired with a light purple and light blue gradient mesh dress, along with pink-purple flowers on the headpiece, the overall goal was to create a sense of lightness among flowers by the water. At first glance, many friends thought I was wearing a white-haired Hanfu, haha. But if you look closely at the fabric of the hemline and the layers of the ruffles, it still preserves the dreamy deep-sea mermaid elements from Honor of Kings. I also specially prepared that little purple fish plush, hoping to recreate Dolia's lively and playful side. The sunlight was perfect on the day of the shoot. The wooden pavilions and draping gauze curtains came with a natural soft-focus effect. I really love the way the hemline floated in the moments the photographer captured me sitting and reaching out. For makeup, I used a translucent base and light blue-purple contact lenses, trying to make my gaze look as vivid and agile as possible. The most interesting part of doing this cosplay is the sense of cooperation with teammates. Even though I always complain about teammates whiffing their ultimates, wearing this outfit myself helps me better understand her rhythm of roaming the edge of team fights, waiting for the right moment to sing and support. From tailoring the clothes to putting on the wig, every step brought me closer to the character. As a commemoration for the 10th anniversary of Honor of Kings, this set of photos records my understanding of Dolia—she doesn't just have a cute appearance, but also the patience to wait for her teammates to seize the opportunity. I hope everyone can see my recreation of character details in this work, and I also wish you all fewer teammates who miss their ultimates in the Honor of Kings S41 New Season (Tianyuan Version). Happy ranking up!
