[Project Sekai] Stage Highlights at the Project Sekai Only: Performance Moments in Stage outfit

Braving Guangzhou's scorching heat to get on stage in this Stage outfit was truly a dual test of endurance and mindset. Attending the Guangzhou Project Sekai Only was also my first time heading up to a rooftop to watch and participate in a live performance—a remarkably novel experience. It was originally because of the Fox-Cat Duo that I officially fell into Project Sekai, so being able to stand on the same stage and perform with so many friends made it wonderfully lively.

To be honest, my filming condition this time was quite clumsy. Due to venue constraints, I had to sit in the audience area shooting for most of the event, to the point where my legs and back went completely numb. Coupled with the blistering heat and electrifying stage atmosphere, my shutter finger kept trembling, resulting in far fewer snaps than planned. Watching the passionate cheers and sea of glowing penlights from the audience, then looking up at the radiant performance on stage, time simply flew by; the second everyone started singing, I got swept up in the excitement.

Because rehearsals and the live stage consumed so much energy, I barely had the bandwidth to capture many group photos. Group compositions are indeed tough to nail down—you have to balance everyone's spacing and choreography while accounting for the giant backdrop LED screen, so I left that to the more professional photographers and focused on capturing personal solo moments that satisfied me. However, today had one super delightful perk: I managed to purchase a beady-eyed plush of my oshi, szk! Surprisingly, its blue-and-white color palette matches the stage outfit Xiaye wore today, serving as a sweet little token of successful fan devotion.

Regarding the stage styling, this Stage outfit features lots of intricate details. The collar bow tie, metallic buckle belt, multi-tiered asymmetrical pleated skirt hem, and white boots—while radiating immense energy, wearing it definitely restricted movement. The layered skirt flares up gorgeously when spinning during dances, but keeping guard against wardrobe slips meant keeping movements slightly restrained, while ensuring grounded footing in those boots. The blue-and-white and pink-and-white palettes looked visually striking set against the starry deep-blue backdrop on the main screen.

When the stage spotlights washed over us, the texture of the garments became even more pronounced. The bow at the neckline and cuff trims caught the light, and the metal belt buckle was notably eye-catching. Even though sitting down to shoot made my hands shake and I missed some incredible split-seconds, personally participating in this performance and feeling everyone's passion left me immensely fulfilled.

Everyone was in top form today, and performing on stage with friends is an irreplaceable feeling. Exhausting as it was, seeing so many fellow fans gathering together made every bit of effort worthwhile. Sitting while filming caused me to miss a few interaction shots of the Fox-Cat Duo, which was a minor regret. Yet seeing other photographers capture so many gorgeous shared frames felt like a wonderful consolation. The beady-eyed plush I bought is super cute, and I plan to hang it on my bag as a keepsake of this Guangzhou trip. Even though this outfit was tiring to wear, given another chance, I'd love to wear it again.

The atmosphere at this Guangzhou Project Sekai Only was fantastic. Meeting many familiar cosplayers and friends and chatting together felt amazing. Although the blistering heat almost melted our makeup, our hearts were full. The fabric of this Stage outfit is actually quite refined, and performing on a rooftop where the breeze caught and fluttered the skirts added a unique sense of presence. On stage, we gave our all to every dance routine, and the audience below rewarded us with their most enthusiastic cheers.

While editing photos, I noticed that despite fewer shutter presses, every single selected shot documented that day's sweat and smiles. Gazing at the blue-haired and pink-haired figures standing side by side on stage in the photos, I felt that the Fox-Cat Duo truly gave me so much strength. I hope there will be more opportunities in the future to sing and dance freely on stage like this in cosplay, spreading this joy to even more people. Finishing editing right before bed, I'll properly appreciate them tomorrow morning. That's all for today—time to get a good night's sleep and recharge!
