This time I'm cosplaying Dolia from the Honor of Kings Flash Project, and the girl group style setting is truly vibrant. Many people were asking about the details of this outfit before; actually, a lot of thought went into everything from the wig to the uniform. The wig is a very clear light blue with big wavy curls. The iconic ahoge on top of the head needed to be fixed naturally without looking stiff, and it took trying several styling methods to achieve the current result. The small shell decorations on the bangs were glued on by hand, with each piece's position adjusted to avoid blocking the line of sight. The uniform is the highlight of this coordinate. The off-white blazer combined with a navy blue tie and a plaid pleated skirt recreates the sharp feel of a girl group stage outfit. The layers of the skirt hem and the metal buckles on the sash were kept as accurate to the original as possible. To make the skirt flutter naturally during the shoot, we used a fan on a low setting and tried multiple times. For the makeup, I used an ice blue eyeshadow palette to echo the hair color, and chose a softer pink-orange shade for the lips, not wanting the overall vibe to feel too cold. As a cosplayer, what I want most with every photo release is to capture the character's high-energy demeanor, so I kept myself relaxed throughout the shoot, trying to make the movements look a bit more spontaneous. Dolia is the main vocalist in the girl group, so I also need to put forward my most confident expressiveness. This set took about two weeks from preparation to the final photos, including adjusting the wig and trying on the outfit. I'm quite satisfied with the final texture. I hope friends who like this setting can feel the dedication. Cosplay is all about turning your understanding of a character into a visual reality.
