This set of photos captures Yuezheng Ling's confession poem theme, specially choosing the season when cherry blossoms are in full bloom to recreate that youthful and gentle school atmosphere. The white shirt paired with a red suspender skirt, along with her iconic single ponytail and red ribbon, plus the letter hiding her little secret in hand—all these details are very distinct symbols of the character herself. It was actually quite windy during the shoot, causing the wig and skirt to flutter constantly, but it unexpectedly added a dynamic sense of breathing room to the frame, which wasn't a bad thing. The photographer's composition was very precise: the first photo framed the character using blurred cherry blossoms in the foreground, which both highlighted the subject and preserved the ambient atmosphere, while the close-up shots in the next two photos allowed a clear view of the makeup and the texture of the props. The red and white color scheme is quite vibrant amidst the full trees of pinkish-white cherry blossoms, but the overall tone was controlled to be relatively soft, avoiding any jarring sense of disharmony. The tailoring of this outfit demands certain body proportions, as the shoulders and waistline need to fit just right, so I repeatedly adjusted the layers of the inner and outer wear during preparation. The red heart on the prop envelope is the finishing touch; when holding it and tilting my head slightly, the character's full energy and a hint of tsundere charm instantly come through. As a VOCALOID-related creation, I've always felt that Yuezheng Ling's visual image fits the light of spring beautifully; without needing too many exaggerated movements, just standing there inherently carries a sense of narrative. This shoot also experimented with different lighting angles—front lighting brings out a translucent skin tone, while side lighting outlines the layers of the hair strands, which helped me accumulate some experience. Although the day of the shoot was a bit rushed, seeing the petals blown down by the wind and the wrinkles on the hem of the clothes in the final photos made me feel that all preparations were completely worth it. I hope this sincerity belonging to Anime-style photography allows everyone to feel the passion and purity behind the character.
