This Angel and Devil theme shoot at Diwang Plaza was a creative collaboration booked with photographer NightDiva as part of a Guangzhou photography booking. The venue was chosen at Diwang Plaza for this Diwang Plaza cosplay, primarily because I fancied this silver metal fringe backdrop. The lighting on set creates excellent cool-toned reflections on it, which matches the distinction we made in our outfits perfectly. The resulting photos inherently carry a stage presence, presenting a relatively strong atmosphere without needing too much post-processing.

In terms of costumes, we had a clear division of labor. On my side, it was a light blue cartoon print T-shirt paired with dark denim shorts and white over-the-knee socks. Along with glasses and the small white plush wings on my back, the overall look leaned toward a clean and clear vibe for this glasses girl outfit. My partner wore a gray printed T-shirt with black shorts, along with highly conspicuous black over-the-knee socks and black leg rings, while the pink headphones on her head and the chain accessories around her neck added some coolness. This opposing yet complementary styling perfectly fits the Angel and Devil theme, and since both of us wore round-frame glasses, the styles looked quite unified.

During the shoot, we used that transparent acrylic chair, and this prop actually yielded great results for our transparent chair photoshoot. The transparent material doesn't steal the spotlight and allows the figures to blend better with the silver fringe backdrop. In terms of movement design, we tried our best to give the image a sense of interaction, such as standing back-to-back, making finger hearts, and doing little cat claw gestures overhead. This slightly dynamic posing feels much more true-to-life than just standing still. Looking back at these few photos later, I could clearly feel the tacit understanding in our eyes and body language. Paired with the combination of leg rings and over-the-knee socks, it also beautifully elongates the leg lines in the composition, showcasing the character's temperament.

Speaking of 'the world is a giant anime,' this saying is actually not just a joke. When you genuinely dedicate yourself to preparing a themed look, come to a place full of atmosphere, and record it with a camera, this feeling of breaking the reality dimension barrier becomes exceptionally strong. This set of photos didn't intentionally chase after any exaggerated anime special effects; instead, it used everyday T-shirts, glasses, leg rings, and wing elements to assemble a sense of daily life leaning toward subcultural reality.

I am still quite satisfied with this set of photos taken. Although the silver fringe backdrop is quite reflective and heavily tests the lighting and angles, photographer NightDiva controlled the light treatment beautifully, without making people look greasy or overly reflective. The transparent chair, combined with two colors of stockings and leg rings, kept the visual focal point of the entire image consistently centered on the figures and the styling. Maintaining this approach of combining daily life with a specific theme is actually a fusion of the character image and a sense of life. This shoot experience was highly pleasant, giving me more practical mastery over this style.
