The cosplay photoshoot plan for the fourth quarter of 2025 has officially been put on the agenda. As a corporate drone who acts as both a photographer and a model, I had actually calculated this quarter's schedule in my mind several times at the beginning of the month. Let's first talk about the core framework of this quarter. The paid photoshoot package projects for 9-grid photos will continue, and I will put more effort into early-stage planning, hoping to treat each set of photos as a creation rather than just an assembly line task. The comparison photo released this time (Photo 1) is part of demonstrating the high-retouch workflow. Regarding collaborative photography, all previously booked works will proceed as usual. The list includes characters like Sakura, Muelsyse, Viviana, Chizuru, Specter the Unchained, Eyjafjalla the Hvít Aska, and White Flute—their spots remain collaborative. Next, new collaborative plans will focus heavily on makeup/styling and themes. Currently, I lean toward circles like Arknights, Wuthering Waves, Blue Archive, Azur Lane, and Touhou Project. I especially want to find an opportunity to go to Conghua and Shaoguan for Touhou Project outdoor shoots; that kind of natural environment matching the characters is truly rare.

Speaking of outdoor shoots, my studio shooting has always been a comfort zone, but the fourth quarter is truly too friendly for Guangdong. As the weather cools down, going out for outdoor photography means no longer worrying about sweating heavily and ruining the makeup, so the future focus will absolutely be on location shoots. Photo 2, Photo 3, and Photo 4 are recent outdoor tests. Especially the intense backlighting environment in Photo 2 and the dark corridor in Photo 3 will be used to try more emotional expressions in the new quarter. The upcoming photoshoots will also try more duo and trio combinations; any more people might make it really hard to control the rhythm, as on-site coordination and the post-processing material organization both consume a massive amount of energy.

As someone who is already working, the only time I can freely allocate is weekends, so the shooting areas will be relatively fixed—anywhere in Guangzhou and Dongguan is fine, and for Shenzhen, it's currently limited to Bao'an, Guangming, Nanshan, and Futian districts. However, to shoot those specific characters and themes I especially want to capture this quarter, I purposely applied to keep two days of annual leave, planning to arrange them on weekdays for concentrated production, which can also avoid the impact of weekend crowds. Regarding the collaborative aspect, I hope that if anyone needs to reschedule or has changes in circumstances, you must communicate with me in advance. Being stood up or flaking really affects the mutual progress. If you are coming to me with a Guangzhou photography booking or paid order, you are my bread and butter, and I will definitely treat you with 120% dedication.

Photo 5 and Photo 6 are recent retouched facial close-ups, where you can see the details of hair strands and the transition of light and shadow on facial features. High retouching is not just about skin smoothing; it must also retain the texture of the original image and the textures of the costumes, makeup, and props. The character with pink and white hair in Photo 5 is particularly difficult to handle in terms of color layering. Paired with metal accessories, the final photo result is still very satisfying. All in all, the fourth quarter is a period to keep grinding on the quality of cosplay photography while widening the shooting scenes and time dimensions. I hope to shoot more flavorful pictures later on. I'll just leave this plan here, and we can move it forward step by step.
