Putting on this blue and white idol outfit and wearing the iconic blue hair accessory, I became a shining first-magnitude star tonight. This time, the shoot was chosen on outdoor steps at night; the starry sky background truly suits Admire Vega perfectly. To restore that quiet yet slightly aloof temperament of the character, I specially adjusted my positioning and gaze, hoping to capture her determination at the moment of turning and looking back. During the shooting process, we actually encountered quite a few challenges. The lighting at night is very difficult to master, requiring the photographer to repeatedly adjust the fill light's position so that the golden trimming of the blue skirt hem remained clearly visible even in low light. Including the details of the shoes and leg rings, I did many micro-adjustments during the styling prep to stay true to the original setup. The material and tailoring of this costume are highly sophisticated, so the drape of the skirt hem needed attention during both running and standing postures. Standing on the steps and looking into the distance, my mind was entirely filled with scenes of the horse girls racing on the track. As a cosplayer, every photo set feels like a roleplay experience, using the lens to deliver the character's story. The night wind was quite strong and messed up the wig several times, but seeing how the starry sky and the person blended in the final photos made it feel entirely worth it. The venue for this Guangzhou photography booking was fantastic; the open environment gave the frames a beautiful sense of breathing room.
