This set of photos was captured across our school's classrooms and club equipment rooms. When taking on the character of Ririko Futamihara from Spotlight lemon jam, I really wanted to explore blending everyday campus nostalgia with musical motifs.

On the wardrobe front, I selected a white collared shirt accented with a deep-crimson necktie, layered under a gray knit vest and a pale-green zip-up hooded sweatshirt, complemented on the bottom by a dark-gray pleated mini-skirt. The combination of pale green and muted gray-white neatly softens the visual punch of the pink hair, making the overall silhouette feel much closer to how one actually dresses on campus. The wig is a shimmery bright-pink bob with blunt bangs falling right to the shoulders, pinned on the right side with a golden N-shaped hair clip as a playful little accent. On my legs, I coordinated white ankle socks featuring red athletic stripes (white stockings) paired with pastel-blue sneakers—this created rich visual layering while allowing effortless freedom of movement across the scenes.

The first photo was captured inside the classroom, where I sat directly atop a wooden school desk with my legs naturally crossed. The yellow-and-black cube prop held in hand was a specifically prepared focal point; its bold yellow circular cutout design was genuinely eye-catching. In this setting, I avoided staring dead-on into the lens, directing my gaze sideways instead to preserve a touch of the character's personal introspection.

The second frame transitioned to the equipment room. Leaning against a wooden bookshelf while sitting on the floor, with a pair of black over-ear headphones resting around my neck, I rested my chin in one hand and looked toward the camera. This pose was quite relaxed; I intentionally extended my legs to elongate their lines, while the green volleyball storage basket and white electric guitar framed in the composition enriched the color palette, evoking that authentic feeling of catching one's breath right after club activities have wrapped. Teacher A-Qing is exceptionally skilled at catching these organic, relaxed moments, with lighting transitions that felt delightfully soft.

The third frame captures the action of playing the electric guitar. This guitar—sporting a white body with a black pickguard—carried noticeable physical heft. Sitting cross-legged on the wooden floor with knees naturally bent, I looked down toward the guitar fretboard. Because I'm not seasoned with musical instruments, we tested several camera angles and adjusted my wrist posture to nail authentic finger placements and strumming angles. Although holding the poses left my forearm a bit sore, I absolutely adore the quiet concentration captured in the final frame.

For the makeup, to harmonize with the character's pink locks, I accentuated the eye makeup with rosy pink-red undertones, seamlessly uniting my facial palette with the hair color. The base foundation was kept luminous, light, and translucent without heavy coverage, as overly dramatic makeup in a school-themed cosplay easily diminishes that lived-in, everyday charm.

Moving the entire shoot from the classroom to the equipment room, we switched across multiple backdrops, and Teacher A-Qing's camera blocking and lighting finesse were consummate throughout. Rather than chasing flashy special effects, the core focus of this set was dedicated to wardrobe harmony, prop interaction, and spatial resonance within campus environments. For me, beyond external styling, cosplay is about naturally channeling a character's tranquil, musically inclined everyday presence within an authentic space.
