Today marks March 7th's birthday, and this Honkai: Star Rail cosplay was specially prepared for this special day. The costume is packed with intricate details: a red, black, and white pieced vest and a dark cincher, adorned with a four-leaf clover accessory featuring blue and gold elements on the chest, along with pink floral embellishments. To capture her lively agility, I meticulously styled the layers of the double buns and long pink hair on top, tying long red ribbons into the wig.

This shoot took place in a garden featuring a traditional moon gate and rockeries. In the first shot, standing beneath the archway and utilizing architectural framing alongside natural light and shadow, I wore a white lantern-sleeve top and over-the-knee White stockings paired with black gold-trimmed heeled boots; resting my hand on my forehead wasn't just to block the sun, but also to project a quiet, graceful maiden charm. Sitting on a red-wood bench in the second shot, a close-up lens better highlighted facial makeup and the details of the blue contact lenses, while the black fingerless gloves on my hands and subtle jacquard patterns on the sleeve cuffs remained crystal clear. The third shot captures a combat stance: wielding a red long sword beside the rockery stream with one foot planted on a rock, the absolute territory created by the over-the-knee White stockings paired with black low-heeled shoes maximally elongated leg lines when viewed in a side profile.

During breaks between shots, I kept repeating the playful catchphrase 'Left Blue Dragon, right White Tiger, cut down on carbohydrates!', and while striking poses with the sword, I genuinely felt that resolute determination to protect my companions. The wind was fierce during the shoot, causing long hair strands to cling to my face constantly requiring adjustments, yet under the sunlight, that splash of pink alongside the red-and-black skirt hem carried rich texture. The cincher part of this costume delivers a fantastic waist-shaping effect, though it also restricted breathing, requiring careful control over movement amplitudes during shooting—especially avoiding dramatic torso bends while swinging the sword.

For facial makeup, the focus centered on blue contact lenses and light pink eyeshadow, echoing the hair color. The wig had immense hair volume, and the buns on top were locked down with multiple layers of hairspray to prevent them from scattering outdoors in the wind. Paired with the red long sword—though moderate in weight—holding a posture for extended periods still left my arms sore. The backlit shot by the water in the third photo was quite challenging, requiring precise angle adjustments to ensure even facial illumination, while the rocks underfoot were somewhat slippery, making balance crucial. The shooting rhythm was very tight; from harsh midday glare to soft evening light, we continuously adjusted our camera angles. The moon gate shot utilized natural shielding to let dappled light fall across the body, adding textural depth. To match the character's personality, expression management aimed for a slight upward curve at the corners of the mouth with clear, luminous eyes. The material of the White stockings carried a slight elasticity with a gentle sheen under the sun, fitting the anime character design perfectly. Overall, the interplay of light and shadow, costume texture, and scenery blended wonderfully, making this a deeply memorable photo set.
