The anime arcade is truly a fantastic photo location—walls full of white gashapon capsule machines provide a cool, natural fill light that makes skin look remarkably luminous and clear without any complex lighting gear.
In front of the gashapon machines, I experimented with different poses. Sitting on a small black step stool with legs crossed and naturally extended not only elongated the lines of my legs, but also perfectly highlighted the pairing of White stockings and the pleated skirt. When standing, resting one hand on the machine with a slight lean or lifting one foot made my posture appear much more relaxed. Tilting the camera up slightly at a low angle worked wonders to avoid passersby while framing the vibrant gashapon machine posters in the background.
