I was so happy at this Chongqing Taxi Comic Convention, finally cosplaying Phoebe whom I've been longing to do. This blue and white sailor-style dress radiates freshness in every detail, from the stripes on the collar to the light blue striped bowtie at the waist. The wig is long, fluffy blonde curls. Paired with a beret and little flowers on the side, I am very satisfied with the overall completion of the look. The lighting at the convention venue was quite messy, but the passerby's perspective captured by the photographer turned out very natural instead, without any stiffness of forced posing.
Carrying a small woven rattan basket and holding a few small white daisies in hand, I felt instantly immersed in Phoebe's gentle yet slightly mysterious temperament. Actually, the skirt hem of this outfit has multiple layers of lace and pleats, making it extremely lightweight when moving around. However, a lot of thought went into cinching the waist and securing the bowtie—after all, the accuracy of Anime cosplay is often hidden in those minor details. The black cross-star tattoo stickers on the white tights were also a finishing touch; I adjusted them repeatedly several times just to paste them neatly.
Seeing myself standing in front of white Roman columns and blue drapery in the Convention photos, it felt as if I had truly stepped into some island scene in the game. Every time at a convention, I meet amazing photographers, and being able to preserve so many clear and natural moments this time is truly precious. I also really like Phoebe's character personality, so being able to express her through cosplay in reality is inherently an enjoyable thing. The weather in Chongqing was very hot, but standing in front of the decorated booth in this outfit, my mood was completely healed by that splash of blue during this Cosplay photography session.
