[Nun-style cosplay] Daily fashion, moments of quiet prayer

The shoot for this nun-style cosplay has actually been forming in my mind for a while, and today I've finally sorted out the photos to share with everyone. The overall clothing uses very pure white fabric, paired with a lace-trimmed veil and fine chains on the head, a large bow tied around the neck, silver-grey double-edged borders on the cuffs, and a red embellishment, making the details very rich. The lower body features white tights and deep brown leather shoes. This high-contrast color combination looks very soft in the overall pure white environment, yet doesn't feel too monotonous, presenting a perfect example of Japanese fashion style.

The studio setup for this shoot really has a wonderful sense of atmosphere. The floor is covered with a blue retro-patterned carpet, surrounded by white Roman pillars, blooming white lilies, and draped white light gauze fabrics. The tone of the entire space is bright with a touch of solemnity. I especially wanted to express that inner sense of peace, so for the props, I chose this dark-colored book. In the first photo, I'm holding the book and flipping through it, giving the impression of preparing to read before the altar. For the next two photos, I chose the posture of interlocking my hands or folding them in prayer. Coupled with the soft high-key light, it perfectly conveys this ethereal mood, making this a piece of beautiful moe-style photography.

Regarding the mentioned "cat girl" or "cat ears," these elements are actually not present in this outfit. I retained the long straight hair and bangs styling. However, if there's an opportunity in the future, maybe I can try to make a small combination of the nun style and cat ears, which should be a pretty interesting brainstorm. During the shoot, the photographer kept guiding my emotions, telling me not to deliberately look at the camera, but just to immerse myself in my own quiet little world. The state in the three photos is actually the most authentic natural flow of my inner heart at that time. Although the carpet on the ground has a very good texture, my knees were actually a bit stiff when kneeling, but for the sake of shooting a good effect, these are nothing.

The way the veil is worn and the direction of the clothing folds make the overall styling look relatively fluffy, so the control of light and shadow during the shoot is very important. The photographer used a very large soft light to simulate the natural light from the window, so the light hitting the clothes wouldn't form harsh shadows, but instead made the whole frame look as if it were in a dream. I love this pure style, which allows me to experience a sense of physical and mental relaxation during the shooting process, which is also my original intention for liking to try different styles of cosplay. Sharing this set of works, I hope everyone can also feel this quiet atmosphere.
