For this Quanxi cosplay shoot with an Original setting, the core tone was subdued lighting and cool detachment. I chose an all-black ensemble, where the silky texture of the black shirt under dim lighting nicely complemented the skin tone. I deliberately styled the collar to be crisp and structured, which, paired with a black lace choker, effectively flattered the neck line. For makeup, I went with a clean, fair base and cool-toned reddish eyeshadow blending. Coupled with the custom black lace eyepatch, this placed the visual focal point directly on the exposed left eye, creating an aloof yet oppressive aura. I wore light-colored contact lenses which, together with the silver-white hair, achieved great tonal harmony.

Regarding the Original setting styling, I selected a lace-up corset and a leather skirt paired with Black stockings, aiming to add layers through contrasting fabric textures. The matte finish of the leather skirt nicely grounded the sleekness of the Black stockings, bringing out femininity without feeling too soft. The shoot took place at a dimly lit restaurant—a setting perfectly suited for this Dark style. We utilized reflected light from the windows to illuminate the face, as side lighting enhanced facial definition.

During the shoot, I mainly focused on fine-tuning pose details. To match the character's crisp, no-nonsense cool demeanor from Chainsaw Man, I engaged my jawline muscles in a neutral expression to make facial contours sharper in the camera. The first close-up used a side-profile look-back pose, utilizing the angle of the shoulders and collar to convey presence while subtly showing off waist details. For the subsequent full-body shots, I kept my spine straight to maintain crisp posture while letting my hands hang naturally to avoid stiffness. The Black stockings also helped visually elongate the legs in the composition.

The prop used this time was a custom-made lace eyepatch. Since such eyepatches easily warp at the edges if they don't fit the facial contour closely, I secured it with fine fishing line to ensure no flaws appeared during movement. Keeping the black shirt smooth and crisp also took continuous effort, as wrinkles show easily on this fabric—we had to steam it every few shots. In post-processing, the overall approach was to darken the background and brighten the subject, eliminating ambient stray light so the focus fell entirely on the garment and makeup details. An Original setting in a Dark style requires much more attention to texture and detail than brightly colored characters. Although preparation on the shooting day was meticulous, the final outcome truly captured that decisive, chilly aura of 'the woman among women.'
