Today, I am sharing my latest shoot featuring a modern OL (Office Lady) concept for Raiden Shogun from Genshin Impact. Usually, cosplaying Raiden Shogun involves ornate battle regalia or traditional Japanese-inspired silhouettes; this time, I wanted to explore a fresh angle by transporting this authoritative Onee-san into a contemporary corporate setting. Violet carries incredible nuance, so for the wig, I retained her iconic blue-purple gradient while carefully trimming the bangs and face-framing tendrils to contour my face. Pairing it with her canon hair ornament ensured that, even in modern executive wear, her identity remains instantly recognizable.

For the wardrobe, I selected a tailored white short-sleeved blouse with a subtly relaxed collar and soft micro-puff sleeves, preventing any stiff corporate rigidity while flattering the neckline and shoulders. The lower half paired with a high-waisted black pencil skirt hitting just above the knee for a crisp, professional finish. For hosiery, I went with sheer Black stockings grounded by glossy black platform stilettos. The overall palette sticks to timeless monochrome with calibrated skin exposure, looking exceptionally clean on camera.

Regarding makeup, because Raiden Shogun possesses a commanding aura and an unmistakable mature presence, I invested considerable care into the eyes. I wore blue contact lenses to complement the hair gradient, blended a generous wash of pinkish-red eyeshadow with deepened outer corners, and dotted her signature tear mole. A warm reddish-orange lip added vibrant contrast against the crisp white shirt, balancing a healthy glow with aloof, cool-toned elegance.

Posing was designed around the executive office persona: sitting cross-legged in a clear acrylic chair holding a black portfolio folder as if reviewing documents in a boardroom meeting, or perched on a white cylindrical pedestal with one hand braced against the edge. In Photo 5, slipping off one high heel was an intentional touch designed to break formal corporate stiffness, introducing relaxed slice-of-life intimacy while accentuating leg contours and stocking sheen.

The studio was minimalist: a pure white cyclorama furnished with classic office props like a whiteboard, desk lamp, and paper coffee cups. Office lady concepts need no complex clutter; a clean setting makes the character's presence pop. Lighting relied on soft, diffused frontal key illumination, keeping skin luminous and clear.

Bringing 2D characters into tangible reality is always deeply rewarding. Raiden Shogun commands immense majesty in-game, yet this white-shirt pencil-skirt office aesthetic grants her grounded, approachable charm, evoking the everyday presence of a female executive. For cosplayers who enjoy exploring AU concepts, corporate OL wear is accessible yet versatile. Black stockings and heels naturally lengthen leg proportions and amplify that sophisticated, mature allure. The entire shoot went smoothly, and bringing this gaming icon into a modern setting delivered a truly satisfying visual experience.
