[Helena Cosplay] Azur Lane Port Midsummer Festival: Maximizing Summer Coolness

This time, I shot a set of photos packed with refreshing summer vibes on the stage of the 2025 Port Midsummer Festival. The on-site ambiance resonated wonderfully with the character, bringing a relaxed seaside summer mood straight into the indoor exhibition hall.

Regarding the styling details: I selected a blue-and-white sleeveless inner top paired with a navy blue vest, where double-breasted golden buttons added refined naval flair. The thick black choker around the neck served as a visual anchor, making the upper bodice look sharp and crisp. The arms were styled with black long gloves featuring white trim and eye-catching alphanumeric markings, complemented on the other side by a blue-and-white spliced sleeve; combining diverse textures enriched the visual layering of the whole look.

The lower half served as a core highlight of this styling. The dark patent leather over-the-knee boots cast a gorgeous sheen under the bright hall lighting, and accented with silver metallic buckle straps, they blended seamlessly with the technological and sporty aesthetic of the outfit. Black shorts paired with semi-sheer hosiery in this Stocking outfit visually elongated leg proportions, introducing a striking focal point amidst the crisp summer aesthetic.

For hair and headwear, the mechanical-style side headset was faithfully recreated with silver-gray component textures. The long light-blue hair, topped with her signature ahoge, fully captured the character's light and agile presence. To harmonize with the overall atmosphere, I chose a translucent, lightweight foundation, utilizing reddish-pink eyeshadow to accentuate the iris color while eliminating heaviness, making my gaze look vibrant and sparkling.

The booth decor was exceptionally atmospheric: blue-lacquered wooden crates, solid wood folding beach chairs, a blue-and-orange surfboard, a yellow sign reading "Summer party," and yellow-and-blue swim rings came together into a complete beach resort vignette. Combining natural light with exhibition fill lights during the shoot beautifully highlighted the fabric textures and silhouette contours. Moving through the booth—sometimes lounging on the beach chair, sometimes interacting with background elements—kept the frames natural, lively, and engaging.

The success of these Convention photos owes much to photographer Geji's dedicated candid shots, which balanced foreground-background composition and lighting while preserving the booth's summer charms.
