[Tashkent cosplay] Azur Lane: Snowy New Year Greetings from Northern Parliament, A Holiday Shoot Record

"Northern Parliament dispatching greetings: Tashkent wishes Comrade-chan~ Happy New Year! Ура! Have you tasted Tashkent's power now?" Carrying this passionate and playful line, on the eve of Chinese New Year in 2026, I completed this Tashkent cosplay New Year shoot for Azur Lane. Wanting to present a faithful holiday set for the turn of the year, both photographer and I made thorough preparations from location scouting to makeup details.

The core of this look is recreating Tashkent's classic winter snow style. To balance character agility with the realities of outdoor shoots, I picked a white diamond-quilted puffy winter jacket. Detailed texture graces front and back, while white plush along the collar and hood brim gives a cozy Northern Parliament warmth. Gold metal chains and blue cord ties echo her original lore design, with white pom-poms along the hem adding playful flair from high angles. Blue-and-white plush animal ears match the cool winter palette. For the wig, I selected a long straight pinkish-purple style with reinforced hair roots to ensure flowing, wind-swept motion without getting messy.

We chose an outdoor plaza with off-white floor tiles as our backdrop. The hard urban ground creates a striking contrast with the character's soft colors, making the silhouette pop. Photographer Qingjue crafted a clever high-angle perspective, capturing the moment Tashkent looks up into the lens against natural bokeh lights. Though outdoor temperatures were freezing, enduring the chill in winter gear was completely worth it to capture her fearless, proud stance. The photographer endlessly adjusted framing and aperture to catch wind-blown hair motion—massive thanks to their dedication!

Portraying Tashkent was a study in her blunt yet tsundere charm. Though constantly boasting about her strength, she deeply cares for her comrades. Translating this contrast required capturing both confident pride and childish sincerity in my gaze. While I am less outgoing in daily life, putting on this outfit and animal ears made me feel like I truly belonged to the wind-and-snow Northern Parliament fleet, sending New Year's blessings to every Comrade-chan.

The final layout includes "2026" and "Happy New Year" graffiti elements alongside a vibrant red lantern, working as a New Year's greeting illustration style set. From planning to outfit care, outdoor Cosplay photography, and layout design, every step required immense effort. Receiving a final shot with satisfying composition, lighting, and expression makes it deeply rewarding. 2026 marks a fresh start, and delivering this enthusiastic New Year cosplay greeting serves as a meaningful milestone for my creative journey.
