This set of photos was completed on the beach under a blazing sun. To be honest, standing on the sand brought far greater resistance from sea winds and waves than I had anticipated before stepping into the water. This time I chose a black ruffled swimsuit; although it’s a two-piece set, the overall silhouette aligns beautifully with the character. The twin-tail wig was quite voluminous and tangled easily in strong sea gusts, requiring constant hair adjustments on set—especially catching those wind-blown moments on camera, which really tested our mutual coordination.

Our shooting spot was a standard public beach bustling with visitors. We scouted several locations just to find angles with slightly fewer people. When waves washed onto the shore, sand and seawater got onto our skin and clothing, but I felt this raw, natural texture suited the summer seaside ambiance best. Prop-wise, the custom cat ears stayed firmly fixed throughout without falling off in the wind. A subtle post-processing FX was added to the halo atop the head, as physical props rarely achieve that level of luminous transparency.

In terms of expressive performance, I previously rarely shot relaxed daily life sets like this, spending most of my time in studio settings. Attempting dynamic moments by the sea—such as gently pulling the ends of my twin-tails or kneeling lightly on wet sand to feel the tide wash over—allowed my mood to naturally unwind. Throughout the shoot, the salty air and scorching heat stimulated the senses, which actually helped me immerse myself deeper into this energetic Anime girl youth atmosphere.

Receiving the final retouched photos was a delightful surprise. My friend handled shutter pressing and post-processing, taking full charge of technical work. For me, adjusting angles and maintaining facial expressions while trusting him with everything else proved to be a fantastic collaboration model. It ensured high production efficiency while allowing me to focus on capturing the character's core demeanor.

Though revealing in attire, the visual warmth of this set remains bright and sunny. Whether it's the sparkling wave glints or the gradient blue sky, the palette harmonizes seamlessly with the character's signature colors. Shooting outdoor Beach photography serves as great training for a cosplayer's stamina and facial control. I wanted to capture that day's sea breeze while preserving her cool yet cheeky charm.

While final images look stunning, behind the scenes involved overcoming obstacles—from nearly tripping in the water to bangs blowing into awkward shapes that needed constant angle adjustments with the photographer. Fortunately, the outcome was thoroughly satisfying, with clean visuals where person and environment merged naturally. I believe this effortless look isn't achieved by chance; it relies on early prop preparation, fitted costumes, and real-time feedback on set. Seeing the finished product made all the hard work worthwhile. Waves, sand, long twin-tails, and summer sun—every element combined seamlessly for this theme, and I hope to share this sunshine and ocean breeze with everyone.
