[Kisaki cosplay] Blue Archive Little Zombie Variant: The Encounter of Talisman Paper and Snow-White Blanket

Today I'm sharing a Kisaki Little Zombie themed look from Blue Archive. The overall design concept complements the original character's dark palette while incorporating traditional Chinese talisman paper and jiangshi motifs, cleverly blending her core traits with Halloween or Chinese funeral aesthetic elements.

The costume utilizes deep purple fabric stitched with dark jacquard patterns, accented with gold piping for an antique luxury feel. The upper top features a bold halter neck design layered beneath clear glossy plastic material, highlighting character allure while adding a futuristic protective edge. This material choice is rare in Anime cosplay outfits, producing a glossy sheen under studio lighting while showing subtle skin textures underneath for a unique visual impact. Ample white ruffles line the sleeves and hem; layered folds break up dark monotony and give the silhouette a voluminous, dimensional structure when seated.

The headpiece setup was definitely the centerpiece of this shoot. The wig was styled in classic long straight black hair with twin buns. The crescent-shaped hairpiece atop required significant effort to balance and secure to prevent tilting. Blue ribbons and a striking yellow talisman paper were visual accent highlights, with handwritten calligraphy on the talisman maxing out the "Little Zombie" ambiance. During filming, holding the talisman paper in my mouth added a cute, character-fitting storytelling dynamic to the shots.

Regarding leg details, I tried asymmetric Black and white stockings. The left white tights were wrapped in several turns of white bandages, creating a sharp texture contrast against the stocking material. The right leg wore sheer black tights. Texture, color, and compression differed completely between both legs, beautifully highlighting leg lines under lighting. A cute emoticon pattern printed on the left thigh added a playful touch. Ankle wrapping was equally well executed—this asymmetric design is extremely eye-catching in Anime cosplay, matching Kisaki's uniquely mysterious allure.

The location was an indoor set with traditional Chinese carved wooden windows. Sitting on a pad covered by a pure white fluffy carpet against intricate geometric wooden lattices created a quiet, ancient atmosphere. I adjusted various seated poses: criss-crossed leg extensions, tucked-in cross-legged poses, and dynamic side-tilted legs. Expression control shifted from subtle pursed lips to gentle smiles, capturing the Little Zombie's transition from cheeky to docile states.

Considering compositional balance, lighting hit the wooden windows and silhouette, letting dark fabrics and hair strands showcase rich texture while white stocking brightness contrasted against black stocking light absorption. To keep the subject centered, framing avoided edge obstructions. Though fantasy-oriented, wearing the outfit provided deep character immersion through fabric and prop feedback. Practically, transparent plastic surfaces easily fog up, requiring defogging prep before shooting and careful movement to avoid tearing fragile seams. Blending this subtle Little Zombie style into Blue Archive's original design aims to convey Kisaki's alternate charm beyond the game, retaining her tsundere yet adorable essence through makeup and gaze.
