[Sparkle cosplay] The Masked Fool in Honkai: Star Rail, changing the rules of the game today

Putting on this red and black Sparkle outfit and standing amid a wall full of wine bottles and scattered playing cards, I suddenly felt that the initiative of this game had returned to my hands. From the bowknot on my head to the red platform wooden geta on my feet, every detail restores the character's liveliness and cunning as much as possible. During the shoot, we specially chose two different scenes: the vintage paper umbrella and tatami offer a quiet Japanese-style atmosphere, while the wine cabinet and gambling table better fit her playful, prank-loving personality. To present the patterns on the dress and the knots around the waist, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted the lighting angles to make the red and blue color-clashing more vibrant while preserving the silk texture. The wig was also specially styled into a high ponytail, striving to make even the curvature of the hair ends flow naturally in front of the lens. Every time I wear this costume, I admire the ingenuity hidden within the design—those asymmetrical cuffs and off-the-shoulder cuts, plus the little bells at the ankles that make a crisp sound when walking, give an incredible sense of immersion. This time, trying cool-toned lighting in a dark environment unexpectedly made the main red color look more mysterious. Although the shooting process inevitably involved repeatedly tidying the skirt hem and adjusting standing postures, seeing the self in the final photos—with a slightly provocative gaze yet seemingly not caring about anything—makes me feel it was all completely worth it. The charm of cosplay lies in the fact that you can temporarily leave your original identity behind, immerse yourself in this carnival-colored world, and enjoy playing the next unknown riddle.
