[Kisaki cosplay] Blue Archive: The President's Qipao cosplay and spear

This outdoor photoshoot selected a modified black Qipao cosplay look, combining a spear prop with Ancient-style architecture backdrops to express the character's unique coolness and visual tension. Embroidery on the garment and knotwork on the collar rendered exquisitely under natural light.

As for props, although this spear is a cosplay item, its grip texture closely resembles real wood. To avoid looking out of place in frame, the shaft needed to form an intersecting visual effect with body lines. The wig underwent specific updo styling and long bangs treatment, which paired with hair accessories balanced weight and dynamic grace across the head styling.

The location was set before a traditional Chinese courtyard featuring preserved wooden lattice windows. Dark wooden doors and windows combined with white walls anchor the character's black tone nicely. Moss on the ground and climbing greenery at wall corners gave frames a natural, studio-free feel. Photographer Nana cleverly used foreground leaves for blurred occlusion, giving composition peeking layers rather than blunt exposure.

Regarding posing, paired with the high-slit skirt hem, a single-leg raised standing posture leaning against a high windowsill was chosen. While appearing graceful, this posture required maintaining single-leg center-of-gravity balance within narrow rock crevices while preserving spearhead angles and facial expressions. The coat hem intentionally used striped fabric with good drape, capturing transient dynamics when breeze swept past.

Makeup leaned cool-toned; eye makeup wasn't overly emphasized, letting lip color act as the visual highlight. Though wig black and garment black shared the same color family, golden embroidery and teal collar accents effectively prevented dullness. Combining traditional qipao elements with Anime-style photography outfits truly tests a cosplayer's temperament expression.

Since the architecture itself was dark, post-processing intentionally preserved ample brightening to let skin tones pop against dark backdrops. The black-gold-blue palette delivered a high-contrast visual impact in final images. From prop placement to body posture, every frame underwent delicate adjustments so spearhead directions and slit positioning sat within proper compositional zones.
