[Eula cosplay] Soft Wind's Greeting from the Old Aristocracy: The Clash of Coldness and Elegance

Genshin Impact's Eula has always had very meticulous outfit designs. Before this shoot, the photographer and I worked through several plans for this black, white, and blue ensemble. The light blue short hair needed hairpins to secure a fluffy yet artfully messy look, with side strands framing the face just right.

The top is a white separated-sleeve shirt, with the blue draped tie at the collar being one of the main visual highlights, paired with black leather shorts and over-the-knee boots. The metal block on the soles gives a satisfyingly solid feel when walking. The heaviest parts of this outfit are actually the cape tail fabric in the back and that massive greatsword prop. Raising the sword with one hand required propping the elbow against the bottom of the hilt for leverage; the matte finish and metallic gold trim presented a remarkably clean, assembled texture under the lights.

Our first stop was a vintage study. The electric fireplace wrapped me in warm tones, while the wooden bookshelves and deer head decoration made me feel like I had just returned from inspecting my territory. Standing with one hand resting on the sword elongated my posture nicely. Next, we transitioned to a red-curtain backdrop with a black-and-white checkered floor, flanked by gold-framed picture frames and gear props. This stage-like setup was truly invigorating. When sitting on the upholstered chair, the photographer reminded me to roll my shoulders back and keep my back straight. I deliberately crossed my legs at an angle, leveraging the rigid structure of the over-the-knee high-heeled boots to outline long leg lines.

In the afternoon, we moved to an indoor leather sofa area. Sunlight streamed through grid windows, casting irregular bright spots on the brown leather surface. Lying on the sofa wearing blue gloves, I took a casual posture, with the glossy texture of the black shorts and boots standing out dramatically under the diffused light. The costume design features many panellings at the joints and metallic buckles along the edges; thanks to the staff's help in organizing it, every detail stayed flat and wrinkle-free.

The freshest set of scenes was beside white Roman pillars and blue-and-white floral pots, with a white birdcage placed on the carpet. The overall color tone was brighter, making my light blue hair look even more translucent in this environment. For this shot, I placed the greatsword prop by my side and supported myself with one hand on the carpet, showcasing local equipment details under soft lighting.

Although the entire set of photos features five completely different backdrops, the core remains the character's inherent elegance and composure. Because the black leather and white fabric materials vary greatly, even a slight shift in light would create contrast issues, so we used at least three reflectors on-site to soften the shadows. In the final photos, whether in a lazy seated pose or a standing pose holding the heavy sword, the posture is rich and the movements feel very natural. That covers the full record of this shoot. Each scene conceals a different emotion, and seeing the final results makes all the hard work dealing with costumes and props fade away.
