Pulling max Eidolons felt beyond incredible—hehee, so satisfying! This stroke of luck didn't just stay as numbers in game data; it made me eager to project this joy straight from the screen into reality. So I immediately contacted photographer @Dabing to schedule a date and set up a studio shoot for this outfit. From the very first glance at the official concept art, I was deeply impressed by this red-and-white outfit design. Compared to other characters, what makes this outfit so unique is that despite containing many ornate elements, it conveys an exceptionally lighthearted and nimble visual feel. That's probably the inherent charm of the character herself.
The bunny-ear top hat on the head is one of the true souls of the entire look. Slightly curved white bunny ears paired with a pure white bow knot, a dark gray hat body, and dangling golden mini-accessories—every single element aligns perfectly with her playful vibe. To find the most fitting hat silhouette, we communicated repeatedly with the tailor back and forth, and I was extremely satisfied with the final structured shape. For the wig, I styled a high ponytail in pale white-pink, adding braided detailing on top while paying special attention to the natural curvature of the bangs and sideburns. It was quite windy on the shooting day, requiring repeated reinforcement with hairspray to preserve that airy, fluffy form.
The main challenge in makeup was recreating the character's unique traits. The base needed to be clean and translucent, pairing with my custom bright red contact lenses to instantly make the iris sharp and vivid. The true finishing touch of the makeup was definitely the red heart mark drawn on both cheeks. To ensure the heart didn't look jarring, I used red cream eyeshadow with a detail brush, softly blending the edges above the apple of the cheeks to ensure a soft matte texture under lighting from different angles. The black choker around the neck paired with a ruby pendant fitted snugly against the neckline, adding visual focus while giving the upper body great depth.
The costume itself features wide red-and-white sleeves alongside an asymmetrical shoulder cutout design, boasting meticulous tailoring. The black leather gloves fit closely to the hands, and combined with that weighty long staff, it serves as a crucial prop for the whole look. Metallic sections, golden ornaments, and red-and-white components of the staff reflect various sheens under the light, feeling substantial in hand. The massive red-and-white block prop in the front right of the frame, though taking up a small portion, is part of her iconic phantom armor design, creating strong visual framing in the final shot.
The shooting set was meticulously arranged with red and black neon light tubes as the main background light source. This lighting style—blending cyberpunk with anime fantasy—happened to make the bright white hair stand out against the dark setting. Working with the photographer, we found several fantastic camera angles, experimenting with high angles and tilted-head poses. For instance, subtle gestures like resting a fingertip lightly on the chin, paired with a natural curve of the lips, effortlessly captured her confident, composed state. Wearing this outfit along with all the accessories is actually quite heavy, requiring immense core strength behind every ideal shot to keep the body steady. But seeing the frozen moments in the camera, all fatigue dissolved instantly. The intrinsic spirit of this character is just so vibrant, and fully conveying it through this shoot was a deeply fulfilling experience.
